I thought they tried that already with Marvel Heroes...did not workout too well.
Soulja Boy is selling video consoles? Dare is say: "Let me Get Em"
His expertise is in supermaning hoes, and handling Booty Meat.
I was sitting watching the VGA's last week and I remember thinking "wow, this was one-of, if not the best year in gaming that I can recall." It will be a long while before a year comes close to the types of releases we got to play this year.
I did not see this coming. I wonder how large the roster is going to be, and if they will wheel-out side stories/characters as DLC. I could see this getting ported later on too.
Footage of the Avengers game, please.
The chat I had with EA "costumer support" was absolutely hilarious. The guy tried to argue that my advantage was being able to play the game early. He also tried suggesting that not everyone was getting the promotion, that it was at random. #ThanksEA
I agree with you, the goal is to make money; and be honest. Do not try and pull the curtain over the consumers eye-lids "This is better for server functionality." "We are creating a more in-depth experience." "We want the user to feel like an individual within the world." None of those are the primary reason to add in a feature that generates more money, generating larger cash flow is.
Rockstar is not the only company at fault for this. Even s...
Another sign that companies are going to do whatever they can to get more $$$. There were Online Passes, Loot Crates, Ultimate Teams, Cosmetics, DLC/Season Passes, and now harsh rates for in-game economies. Every time they say "we're done with [input cash grab here]" what they are really saying is "We'll find a new way(s) to have you spend money."
The best we can do is continue to be vocal in logical ways. People pointing out that a can of beans...
Well...people are going to some intense lengths to make sure they don't have to play this game.
I have played for about 5 hours (excluding time where is I was sitting idle in the world), and I have to say it is a lot of fun. Yes, it is very simple right now; However running missions with the threat of a user(s) being able to impede makes the world very exciting. Riding down a road and seeing someones camp is pretty neat too. I think the funniest thing I have seen so far is hearing gun shots from the saloon and seeing a dude run out, followed by another. Before the first guy could ride a...
@rainslaker and really others too
Why is this becoming so black and white?
What is the point in: Tomb Raider, Street Fighter, Gears? The NPC you see (for the most part) are intended to be killed, hurt, fought w/e. As I stated before, the publisher of the videos had a direct and aggressive intent (which rockstar should not be held accounted for). He could have a slew of videos where he is murdering every NPC in every town (go for it, be violent in the game...
@Jamaicangmr, having read what you just said I now see your frustration. The original post and "should Rockstar Games be held accountable for fostering negative attitudes?" Did not connect for me.
No, Rockstar should not be held accountable for a players violent actions in a game. They did not foster-it, If we were able to dig deeper, by doing a FBA on Shirrako, I think we would find that he has had a negative opinion of women, feminism...however you want to titl...
Sure @ninsigma, thank you for your engaging conversation, and consistently dodging the simple question I made earlier. This was long, and pointless. Keep the down-votes coming , please, It is laughable.
@Jamaicangmr
I am not saying that one is more womanish than the other, nor is this about being defenseless.
My point is how black and white the initial post is. To say: because someone is hitting female NPC in RDR2 than we should hold Capcom and Namco accountable for their violence against women, is pretty far-fetched. When the two circumstances are pretty far apart.
The videos in question are not just violent (really big deal, I am inc...
@ninsigma --my question still stands, though it was not initially directed at you. I did not know I needed to clarify that for you. It seems like a genuine conversation with you will not occur. You continue to slant away from my initial question
@ninsigma
If you want to play a game of gotcha with grammar/names/titles be my guest. My point still stands, there is a difference between a fighting game, where the intention of both male and female characters is to fight, and Shirrako's video where the title and action suggests aggression towards feminism/women -- how many men does he hit in his video? By all means, defend freedom of speech/expression, and your gotcha game does nothing for the conversation.
But why do you fight Chun-Li, Cammy, Crimson Viper, etc? Answer that, and then consider the videos Shirrako is posting, and the the title of his videos. You are fighitng Chun-Li so you can progress through the game, it is the same reason why you would fight Ken or Ryu. In Shirrako case, he is positing video that in title and action demonstrate a hatred towards women. That is the difference.
I love RDR2, its incredibly beautiful, well-paced, and tells a great story. The random events/activities open the world even more, and (much like GTA) going on random sprees is entertaining too. The other day, a NPC said some shit to me while I was riding past him; all I said was "hello." What did I do? I hog-tied'em, took my horse East, and tossed his body into the swamp to be eaten by alligators -- it was awesome. sometimes, when I kill a guy, I'll dump his body on a camp ...
Finally, someone who gets gaming.
