Well said, they made their damn point now leave it alone already.
Sony wouldn't have won no matter what it did, however it should be pointed out that keeping your content isn't always dependant on renewing your subscription, there has been content given on plus that was for keeps.
But yes of course I'm sure Sony are giving people a taste as an incentive to then subscribe.
For the most part people shouldn't be reimbursed, they just feel like they are entitled to be for some odd reason.
However in the case where monthly subs for online games etc are involved I do believe that they should at least get a few extra days free to reflect the length of time the network was down for.
I know this isn't really the fault of Sony and I am glad they are doing the sensible thing and taking their time but not everyone sees it this way...
With the NGP coming along at the end of the year it isn't exactly a shock
As much as I don't like the song or think it fits, seeing the other options out there it could have been much worse. There is no reason why they cannot appeal to a more western audience but keep the charm of the game. Music matters it sets the tone.
If this had surfaced early in the year I probably would have dismissed it as nice but pointless, however as of late I find that I am using steam more and more for my games and quite frankly I like it, and this sort of thing appeals to me now.

Actually surprised, they didn't seem to care how crippled Fallout 3 is but they continue to update New Vegas.
It would be very easy for me to point fingers and say oh yes its got to be the publishers or the higher ups of a company putting pressure on the devs to cut corners etc to bring times and cost down but the truth is that without inside knowledge of the company anything I say will be purely speculation.

I know what you mean, gba and ds got the same re-release treatment for some of the games too. Though I never did bother with them.
I didn't actually learn about this until yesterday, since I liked the other psp remakes of final fantasy 1/2 and star ocean it got my interest, the fact that theres also a second game included just sweetened the deal.
Yes the remake thing has been done before but the ps1 versions were my chance to play them since I never touched the original release. Square next job do FF6 for the psp, or at least release it on psn. :)

There are real concerns to be had about the new psp, but there are still unknowns (Battery life, price etc). Until you have all the facts how can you even begin to form a well rounded, informed opinion?
Never knew about a Starfox 2 game, its a shame because I still play the first one on my SNES.
Not like other companies don't do this under the guise of a "Beta", however there is a legitimate reason why it could be labeled beta and that is as people have said stress testing. Though if we are honest its primarily a tool to build up hype ;)
