There are a few, though I found out after I was atop the No Man's Sky hype train, and then searched for similar games and wholla I found some games, on Steam though. Pulsar: Lost Colony is strikingly similar to NMS and had released way back in 2015, though the art style is different. If you like crafting, I think you'll like Salt also, awesome art style. Subnautica is another game that might interest you, though it has no planet landing and stuff, neither is it a space game (Neither i...
Clickbait. Have seen another 101 or so articles with the same content. Now stop wording articles a bit differently to not get a duplicate report and come on guys. Those who want to buy the game will buy it, those who don't will be missing a good game but it's their opinion. Yes some people have the petty mindset that they will take revenge for TR's supposed betrayal, but well leave them alone. Business is business. If they think they got what they wanted was enough it's their ...
Nope, those whoa re playing the game say that the game is awesome, and is improving at a regular basis. Considering that other games like FFXV, The Last Guardian etc have had long development times, I think this is a more open way of making the game.
Lol... GOTY contenders- Witcher 3: B&W, Witcher 3 (Modded) xD
Dude not all people can go out and spend 400 bucks for one game.
Well in the video above it certainly seems like it'll jar my experience
I personally appreciate exclusives and I think that Insomniac will do a great job with the game. My only issue is that (Being a PC gamer, I have unjustly ranted on this as well), Spiderman comes in the top 10 most popular characters ever in almost any poll taken. Agreed PS4 has a very large fanbase, 40 mn to be approximately exact, but it does not mean the whole PS4 crowd are spiderman fans and will buy the game. Yes maybe people will jump to PS4 for the spiderman game, but that is not a defi...
I don't have a problem with the article as such, the title is really misleading. I mean I'm considering buying a PS4 and it's not because of the aforementioned games, since the only game I will probably buy from the above list will be Resogun. I'm considering it for just 2 games- Horizon and Spiderman (I know it is ridiculous to spend 400 plus the cost of the games for just 2 games, but still).
But if I am to consider buying a PS4 over say Wii U (I have a ...
This is such a clickbait. They are not reasons to buy a PS4, they are just the best PS4 exclusives. Why have you misguided the crowd?
I'm a PC gamer and while I'm excited for it, I have a feeling that this will not work properly in real life. The problem that will be faced will be:
1. Immersion- I can feel that there will be a lot of immersion breaking while going from FPS to TPS while in combat because the whole world is full of enemies, you'll keep constantly keep transitioning between both the perspectives.
2. Even if they are somehow able to make the combat also in FPP, we shouldn't for...
No Man's Sky's developers have not hyped up anything. Whatever hype has been created has been by the public and rightly so, because this is something innovative this year, and will be the second technical masterpiece after Witcher 3 if the execution is right. Just have a look at all the released content tll now, they have not used extravagant words and that shows that the hype is organic and not presented. And this hype is genuine, because yeah 18 quintillion planets all landable and ...
Sorry, me bad
No Zelda (No I don't have a Nintendo console, but that game looks a class above anything I have ever seen. The physics *drooling*)? No No Man's Sky (OK the release date is close, but still)? No Star Citizen (Alpha is already avilable to people and they are actually enjoying it)? And Ghost Recon of all games, seriously? May as well put WatchDogs 2 (Crappy). The list does not have any solid content as well, as to why the open worlds ,may be good. What's the point?
I digress, aprt from U2 and TLOU, ND games have never won the GOTY.
Also note that TLOU was released in 2013, a year where games were literally pathetic and still by popularity choice GTA V had taken the crown (Maybe due to it's multiplatform nature, but as it stands, GTA V sold the most on PS3) and Bioshock Infinite also had some amount of following. As for Uncharted 2, again 2009 was full of lacklustre games apart from a few. Other than that 20011 (Uncharted 3's y...
0 story telling is what you call RPG specialists? I agree that From Software's games have some of the best gameplay around, but storytelling is almost absent and while I appreciate the story through exploration, sometimes it becomes tedious.
My fav developers (Not in any order);
1. CDPR- The Witcher franchise
2. Square Enix- The revival of Tomb Raider, Deus Ex and Sleeping Dogs
3. Valve- Half Life, Counter Strike and Team Fortress
4. Rockstar- GTA, Red Dead, Max Payne and LA Noire
5. Bioware- Mass Effect, SWTOR, Bioshock
Honorable mentions:
Epic Games, Nintendo, Kojima's games, Bethesda.
You'll only understand it if you have played Witcher 1 and 2 thoroughly. Other games as I stated above have kept the same mechanics for the past 4-5 games and that is called generic, not Witcher 3 where they have literally improved upon every aspect of the game, made it better, made it meaningful. And yeah, these days it's becoming less about focus on gameplay and more focus on story and graphics (Until Dawn *wink wink*), and Witcher 3 perfected the sword style of gameplay. I have not...
Innovation if done right is not
Well, I won't be saying about the first half of the year. The most fun I have had playing has come from a DLC, Blood & Wine of Witcher 3. All other games are just generic, not necessarily bad, but neither doing something special. Well if there was a category of 'Most Blandest Games', I would put most of the games in there, including Inside. Yes maybe B&W was bland if you compare it to the main game, but at least unlike other games which have the same mechanics for nearly a...
Yes it is not very good looking, but then the concept is a bit different with the online Co-Op, so I wouldn't dismiss the game based on it's graphics, and yeah me too, will get it day 1 most probably.
Lol sorry
