It's an indie dev. I won't take the name, but he said that for his idea to work Unreal was too complicated and gave him a huge FPS drop for what he was trying to do. Don't get me wrong, Unreal is a great engine and has powered many games in the past, but it comes to the personal preference of devs as well.

Unity offers more flexibility in terms of programming, that's why. Unreal is good out of the box, but you cannot customize it as much as you can Unity (According to a dev)
PSVR has more buzz, just because Sony is marketing it aggressively, and yeah, just as usual the media hype and Sony fanboys adding to that. If you really do play on Steam, you'd know that there are more than 100 games already on Steam that are VR exclusive.
I'm a PC gamer, and no I don't own any of the MS games, QB (Bad port) or anything else that is Win 10 exclusive, but I think that the media is purposefully downplaying the MS Exclusive titles. Jimquisition and Yahtzee are probably the most unbiased reviewers in the media right now. Probably will throw IGN a bit, but not confident about that But it's my opinion.
Most probably none of the multiplatform games are going to change for the Pro, only the exclusives. Even Mass Effect Andromeda is not going to be 1080p/60fps. All the other games like Witcher3, For Honor, GHW, Dishonored 2 etc are all going to be probably upscaled 30 fps. Because not all companies are going to make patches and put down their resources for patches for games. Also Mass Effect is not going to be remastered, EA has said that.

Most people are un-knowledgeable and would prefer the easy plug&play system. That's the reason many PC gamers get low tiered PCs and then become wannabe PCMR. Now that the technical knowledge of people is increasing, more people are coming to know that they can build a PC of good performance on a decent budget if they look in the right places.
Not on DX12. I have seen benchmarks where the RX 480 outperforms the GTX 1060 in some cases which performs equal to a GTX 980 on DX 12 (Not an AMD fanboy lol, just saying)

I actually don't mind the story that much, I don't even focus on the story in linear games like DMC, ROTR or anything else you name it. The gameplay in such games should be good, and that's why I liked the open endedness of ROTR and the flashy combat of DMC.
