I have played Star Citizen and it is awesome. You calling it a scam doesn't change the fact that they have actually allowed the player base to play the game. You just haven't played the game. Also the game has been in active development since 2012 which is 5 years after TLG, Nioh and FFXV which were planned for previous gen consoles.
And yes it is crowd funded, but that doesn't at all mean it is featureless. It has more depth than any game till date. Just wait t...
Hahaha.... How long? It is playable first of all. Second where was your skepticism when FFXV, Nioh and The Last Guardian were delayed for almost a decade now.
You do know that the core is what takes time. As the game progresses, the development becomes faster.
FFXV is pretty much confirmed to come to PC. Most FFs have already released on PC. Also most of us are not interested in games like Uncharted. Bloodborne is one game that we would like and the only other I think we will definitely want will be Nioh.
@Souldmikey
RTS and simulators sucks for you and not many agree with you on that, because RTS is coming to Xbox One via Halo Wars. There is a reason DOTA2 and LOL have the largest player bases in the world right now. And also, as for the exclusives, these days console exclusives are simple cash grabs- No gameplay innovation, only pushing for squeezing out every pixel they can. If big exclusives are made for PCs, they are made to push the technical boundaries of what is possible in te...
If you want to see what HDR is, go play Half Life 2: Lost Coast. HDR has existed since 2008 and Valve made it so that any monitor could support it (If you hear the dialogues in the game properly). So HDR is just a gimmick and a way to sell Sony 4K HDR TVs.
Also HDR is not very costing, even an Inte HD 4000 (One of the lowest end video cards) was able to give a stable FPS at a resolution of 1366X768 on my crappy laptop. I'm sure my GTX 1070 will crush it as well
The most moronic part, GRAPHICS ENTHUSIASTS. Those who are graphics enthusiasts or in fact any kind of enthusiasts, prefer a PC.
@Everyone below
Ha, just tell me the number of players into E-sports who play on the console side vs the number of people who play on PC. E-sports and that is just one sector.
Also as I have said above Half Life 2 did HDR, which is almost a decade old, and if graphics were to determine a gamer, then Crysis is the best ...
@David
Lol, get out of your dream world. Fallout 4? No. Skyrim and The Last of Us I can agree because they are last gen games and their remasters are just cash grabs, just like God of War 3 remaster. Only INDIE games are gonna run on 4K, all other current gen games will be upscaled from 900p I think.
Tell me one game that is a multiplayer class based shooter or any game that allows you to explore a 3D world at your own will or if there is any kind of depth to the gameplay. Yes I know Battlezone is there, but I think that's it. All the games feel like Android games to be honest.
That's true. They are more like experiences than games. HTC vive has proper games as of now, which have some actual gameplay.
Wow, the list grows- FarCry Primal (Not surprising), Quantum Break, No Man's Sky, Deus Ex, Gears of War (For some) and now Mafia 3. Wouldn't be surprised to see Watch Dogs 2 and The Last Guardian join the list. This gen seriously sucks for AAA gaming. No game till now has innovated anything and old concepts with exceptions have been thrashed. Seriously makes me wonder the rest of 2016 as well as the rest of the generation. We aregoing to see the same things in different skins. Looks l...
Well, tbh I'm not interested in the game that much, but it's good to know that developers want to keep the rights to their creation and not give it in the hands of some huge publishers after which if they decide to do something with the IP, they couldn't without Sony allowing them to. Complete freedom is where game development is headed. AAA gaming is going to be a thing of the past with great game engines available to the mass consumers and the talent that is not fully utilized. ...
Well, that's good. This way they will get more exposure and can make a sequel if they want, because they retain the IP. Great news.
Umm..... I have never played the GOW games and I would like to say that since 2009, I haven't played many AAA games. I'm more interested in Indie titles because they are unique experiences. But.... That does not stop me from playing some rare AAA game once in a while and that is also the most adequate way to review it. TBH, if you say that playing one of the biggest franchises makes someone a real gamer, then the idea of gaming is really blurred for you.
Consult an ophthalmologist.
Umm...... Vive has many games, just check the Steam store. In fact, I think that the number of F2P titles on Vive are more than what PSVR currently has on offer.
Here:
181 of them were on STeam sale, which exclusdes the ones not on sale, and many of them are quite decent.

Well it is a gimmick I agree. That's why I didn't invest in either vive or rift. Just like motion controls, 3D displays etc, no one will be talking about it 1-2 years down the line. Also the effective genres on the device are fairly limited. Yes while you can make all games for VR there are only very few games that will be actually meant for VR. Also was pretty disappointed in the gameplay of the games currently (More like tech demos)- Arkham VR (Pretty static gameplay, all you have t...
I don't know how people are saying IGN doesn't support Sony, when their highest rated games this year are Sony exclusives. -_-. Seriously. While I'm not a fan of IGN, it is clear they are not biased atm. If you are looking for totally unbiased people Jim Sterling and Ben Yahtzee are the people I refer to.
More like- "Won't be noticeable to the YouTube eye". Let's not hype a console before it is released. 4K looks too beautiful.
I doubt so. It is a PC exclusive which, even if they promise a tad, they will be able to deliver almost that, because there is no hardware restriction apart from the highest end consumer grade hardware.
