And this is how the hype starts and when the product is out, disappointments sets in. This gen is filled ith such examples.
You can still get it if you bought from Amazon. When Gears of War 4 was available with GTX 1070 and GTX 1080s, one person bought GTX 1070 a week earlier from Amazon and Amazon refunded about 50-60$ from the total price
Agreed. I wish the days of Ultima, Doom etc came back and John Romero, Chris Roberts, Warren Spector came together to design a game that works on John Carmack's engine. Dammit we can only dream
Deus Ex is unparalleled (Not including the spinoffs and Mankind Divided), but Deus Ex and Deus Ex Human Revolution are two of the best games ever made, be it emergent and slick gameplay, narrative depth, dark humor (In Deus Ex OG), real world problems, music, graphics etc. Name it and Deus Ex has it. I think Warren Spector should work on the next Deus Ex game after finishing System Shock. I can't comprehend what kind of game he will make with the technology available today.
To think they have the gall to ask for donations after such a stupid article. *Mindblown*
You know, you should just stop games journalism. Bringing in stupid stuff in a culture which is united by games and other nerdy stuff, please, just go do your other things, and leave gaming journalism.
No, I don't think so. Many people in India have brought from the Blizzard site of various countries (USA, Korea etc)
The cringe is real by HHG
Everyone was saying that about Watch Dogs 2. That also is pretty much forgettable an experience
There is a competition? Xbox is out of question and Switch will probably get drowned at launch with all the games on PS4
Same can be said for Open World Games- Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Just Cause 3 (IMO) etc
Both types of games are necessary and it is much more tough to craft an open world, so linear games have their place.

Not for me. I only watch Streams of CSGO and of those who are renowned/skilled. I don't watch otherwise.
I think Housemarque is focusing first on Nex Machina and then next they will move on to Matterfall.
Vanquish has a sequel? Don't compare the shitty Deus Ex Mankind Divided with the best game of last gen, Deus Ex Human Revolution, a masterpiece. Crysis was consolized after 1, with linear corridors and non-emergent gameplay. Nothing like L4D and Portal this gen. Nioh is probably going to be good. If you are into cover based shooter movie games like Gears of War 4 and Uncharted 4, then sure this is a good gen. I have had enough of cuver based shuuters, Max Payne and GTA V do it mechanicall...

Agreed. I am a relatively modern gamer and saw myself playing games like Persona 4, Deus Ex OG, SOTC, Ultima, Wing Commander and enjoying them more than most games this gen. There were 1 or 2 highlights like Witcher 3, but other than that, it's a bore. Heck I liked the PS3/Xbox 360 era- games like Vanquish, Crysis, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Left For Dead, Portal, Resistance, Ninja Gaiden etc, so many fun games. Now most are borefests.
I don't think using a bug to an advantage is a reason players are banned. That didn't happen in CSGO and I don't think it will happen here.
@blackbaldes
A similar thing happened in a CSGO tournament, where Olofmeister (A player from Fnatic) used a triple boost and won the match single handedly because the players didn't know where the bullets were coming from. Yes that was an exploit, but the team wasn't penalized in any way, and that bug was r...
It's not an Indie list. Some of these titles do have publishers backing them. Eg- Troll and I has a publisher. As said in the article, we didn't put in games like Yooka Laylee because they are worthy of the 'Most Anticipated titles of 2017' and of course Persona 5 also deserves to be in that list.
This was an article to tell people about other interesting games and not bore them with the same lists over and over again tbh. And yeah, again, games like Persona...
Crysis had emergent gameplay unlike many games since 2007. I guess people hated emergent gameplay and wanted more cuver based shuuting and regenerative health, which are some of the most boring elements in any game ever. Deus Ex HR does it right though, true emergent gameplay
Which online game doesn't suffer from it?
