For 1-3 games, I sacrifice 100s if not 1000s of games? No thanks. But what's wrong in trying if there is a possibility of the game coming to the platform? I mean I ain't gonna buy a PS4 for that, and make it a coaster after playing Nioh and Horizon Zero Dawn. That's waste of money. Already have many games in the backlog, might as well finish them
How about anti-consumer-pro-business exclusivity be shunned?
Can I get it without Uncharted for more discounted price?
Oh tell me more about how other RPGs implement narrative over the whole story and your choices matter throughout the game. Character customization? What's the point of character customization in Skyrim when the story is gonna be unaltered? Skyrim isn't even an RPG, it's an action adventure game with RPG elements.
RPG- Role playing Game- you are supposed to make consequential decisions, which have not been implemented any better other than perhaps Obsidian games ...
I tried on two resolutions 1080p and 1440p, because this is not a game that can be enjoyed at 30 fps.
My rig is
i5-6500
GTX 1070
8 GB DDR4 RAM @2133 GHz
At 1080p Ultra without motion blur, runs between 110 fps without fps drops, except in heavily explosive situations where it drops down to 80.
At 1440p, constant 60, with drops to the lower 50s.
At 4k (Played for 5 minutes), 30 fps ...
Umm... Really? On my PC it runs flawlessly. Like 110 fps without any drops.
G8B8M8. The bait quality gets a gold seal of approval along side medal for gold of trolling.
And unlike this Star Citizen has a much bigger scope? Bigger than anything we have seen. So 5 years in development is not much considering that GTA 5 took 5 years to make, Witcher 3 took 4 years to make, a game like Last guardian was stuck for 10 years, even FFXV was there for 10 years, both of which could have been developed in max 3 years.
I agree with him totally.
Still had much more content than most games of 2016.
This game had more depth than most games this generation. Just because rviewers crapped on it and not on other games which were practically movies like ROTR, U4 and GOW4. Emrgent gameplay is gone now with Deus Ex out of the way. Expect even less in-depth games
Open world games have been saturated sheerly by Ubisoft alone. Assassin's Creed, we have had 10 main games in 10 years roughly, and Far Cry 2,3,4 and Primal follow the same steps of grindy, area unlocky, tower climby, collectible thingy, story progressy feeling. Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 are just boring games.
I wouldn't excuse even Bethesda for making Skyrim and Fallout 4 as casualized and Ubisofty as possible. Grinding quests- run here, kill something, get somet...
Translation 'We want clicks, so we will create news out of anything'.
Seriously- You should know that hardware and software optimization can take time. Even Xbox removed the snap feature to boost performance, though PS4 Pro didn't do that.
If RDR2 is gonna have an online mode, the pirate shits are only getting half the game tbh... And yeah as sai abov, the delay matters, after delay, there are many people who will pirate it first and then buy it.
Wait what. I thought this was supposed to be a PSVR exclusive????
Games are being casualized. We have seen that with practically evry game trying to be easy and tend to the mass market. I hate this. Hope the Strange New Things, Warren Spector etc make games that are worthy of the nerd in the underground basement and not meant to serve sheep.
Precisely the reason Ubisoft keeps flushing out trash.
Where is Eye tracking?
And what do any other VR experiences have to offer? As far as I have heard, HTC Vive has the most variety and best quality among all VR headsets in spite of reaching fewer people due to it's high cost
It's pretty easy. I was spamming the direction of the mouse buttons and was able to block 99% of the attacks. It's a MOBA who's comabt is less varied and pretty easy. I felt bored and the 45% positive response opposes this article.
