When I occasionally play on PSN, I notice a lot of Japanese players with Japanese characters name an ID and no one really discriminate against them.
On the other hand, I remember a Japanese dude on Halo 3 being verbally abused on XBL by dicks and annoying kids. Making slanty eyes comments, we'll nuke you again, etc. Maybe it is an isolated case, but I think the American way of doing things in online games drive away the Japanese audiences on 360 games.
I find that the age group of the 360 and the PS3 also have an effect. "I have a 360 because my friends does." Who haven't heard of that line before? Even I was stupid enough to fall for it until I found out what a piece of crap the 360 was compared to my PC. Likewise, a lot of people buy the staple of 360 trinity exclusives because their friends does too.

You're doing it wrong. The Dualshock is designed to sit on top of your hands by the pinky and ring finger. Not completely fill your palms. By that virtue, no matter how small or large your hands are, there is always room for 2 fingers on each hand. It is intuitive, even a kid can do it. I can't say the same for the 360. If you try to completely grip the DS, of course that's your issue.

There's always a trap within these type of deals. By the time you almost pay off the contract in full, the damned 360 would have devalued to $100 or something in the market due to newer consoles being released or price drop. I don't understand why idiots complaining about current PS3 not having BC. I bought my PS3 CECHA01 phat for $700. It is $700 for a reason, and it still works. If you wanted BC SOOOO Bad, pay for it.
