actually, I want a ps3 to play this game after that preview.
This would never happen in dota 2...
Wraith, you're high. No one goes to websites to get a patch, they're all automatic now...
@JsonHenry
I'm not worried about the graphics aspect of stalker 2, it's about the interface, shooting, difficulty, and complexity of games developed in eastern Europe.
the stalker games are comparable to a dense book, it's hard to get into, but once you get into the right mind set, it becomes incredible, and I'm not sure bethesda understands that.
Bubble add this man.
On topic, I don't know if this a good thing or a bad thing. Bethesda would want to bring this to consoles, and I don't mind that, but streamlining it for consoles would destroy what is fundamentally makes stalker a great game.
Bring it to PC, but don't half ass it Capcom.
I have no problem with kotaku, I find their articles entertaining from time to time. But then again I keep in mind that it's blog, no more, no less.
douches or survivors?
F2P can stand for fun to play because need to stay fun to play constantly or else they loose their player base and it dies. The ones that don't die and don't make any money.
Example of white male privilege
The fact that you only have 3 examples says it all when thousands of video games have been released in the past decade.
Also all post before this one is prime example of white male privilege.
I hope the person that wrote the article states that it cost about $45k to update a game with a patch, which is a huge burden on indie devs. If he's been working on the game for 5+ years I'm sure he'd want his baby to be at it's best, but some times you have to bite the bullet and make the sensible choice.
Great pic for #1, if it wasn't on the list I was going to cry.
Yeah, I really can't get excited for next gen anymore, since I switched to pc I've sort of forgot about the consoles, and the "console war", I just think of games.
That's strange, I'm planning on getting a 670 Gtx 4gb edition, and that alone cost close to $500 and somehow they found a way to make an "epic" pc for $400. I think I'm doing this pc gaming this wrong lol.
yeah only if an open world jungle game existed on made by crytek existed...building don't count as open world crytek.
You're absolutely right, the cold war era theme fit perfectly into the bs that is mgs.
If link could talk he'd say: Navi, shut the hell up I get it, I know you want me to look over there, but I'm ignoring you on purpose.
very true, the first time i played it i left and didn't touch the game for 3 months. For some reason when I played it the second time it clicked, I found a hero i liked and started learning the basics.
I don't think there's anything wrong with streamlining parts of games, hell Civ V wouldn't be the game it was if Fraxis didn't try and adapt Civ to consoles, so there's a positive. Where it becomes a problem is when the game wants to take your agency away and punishes you for trying new thing that go beyond the scripting the developers intended. Things like the youtube video of CODBLOPS where the player went though a level without shooting a button, or when you try and g...
