For many people the multiplayer game is worth the $60($50 on pc). I've put in about 60 hours into Battlefield 3 and have yet to touch the multiplayer or the co-op; $60 dollars well spent. I can relate to the author of the article, some games are just way too big, too much of a time sink, that's why I enjoyed games like Binding Of Issac, it's a quick short game, nothing that makes me commit 30-40 hours that i don't have.
Just because you change your user name doesn't mean you get to use the same header without some criticism; pick a different header and stop using your lame cookie cutter formula.
That's largely due to starwars and battlefield 3; which no doubt were going to sell well, but for origins to be a viable online platform it needs to have similar 3rd party sales.
""There isnt a huge pc interest for it"

In reference to epic games, that might just a contractual obligation when they signed the deal when they signed for a trio of Gears games.
For me, it's publicly traded companies. They have to answer to investors that often don't know anything about videogames, and their only vested interest is profiting. Valve, Epic games, and CD Projeckt, they answer to no one, and they take the time and have the freedom to create the projects they want.
You guys better buy this game, CD Projeckt is a great dev, and if this doesn't sell well they are screwed, and I don't want to see another GSC just because they gave some love to the console and no one bought it.
why not, skyrim was not perfect. To be honest, Skyrim might as well be a mod for oblivion, except oblivion had more interesting quest.
Yeah they are, they do a proper morality system, unlike bioware games where you choices are either good or bad with no middle ground. Also, people play Bioware games in terms of who they will sleep with instead of how they affect the world. Play Dragon Age 2, you always have 3 dialogue options, A good, a bad and a sarcastic response.
@coolbeans nice pic, can't wait for that new shins album.
another web site looking for quick hits...god.
What does N4G website ranking have to do with writing an original header. Plus look at your previews, they are so cookie cutter that you can see the formula.
"PC gamers, meet A Walk in the Dark. A Walk in the Dark is an indie game that is being developed for our beloved platform. In this action platformer you play as a cat, Bast, running through a dark"
"A Walk in the Dark promises to be a story driven platformer set in a dark fantasy world,...
John2 or DSO, please come up with a new header: http://bit.ly/zsQyN6
I tried Dota 2 for about a week and I can say i prefer LoL much more. It just seems more streemlined, with the intent of getting you back out into the battlefield. In Dota 2, I was so confused by the crafting and buying system that it took me a couple of minutes just to find out what something did, and how to craft it.
@Snookies12
Hello no, just the first 5 mins, then i said fuck this I bought bf3 for multiplayer.
"I may be in the minority but I can't think of a game where a QTE actually bothered me."
The beginning of Battlefield 3.

It should look good, that VGA video was PC gameplay, The keyboard buttons were on the top left hand side of the screen.
"A recent example comes from I.D. Software’s Rage that refused to play nice with my ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT graphics card."
I don't even need to say more.
As for the online stuff, I like the ability to choose servers, I hated P2P gaming on console, where the person with the shittiest connection would get chosen as host.
Price, $600 ps3 at launch, $400 360 at launch, by the time new console come around your pc is pretty much outd...
Wait, why do people disagree with you, I mean I don't think people actually believe that they should be charged for online access on consoles; it's just the reality they face.
The Wii U controller could be used as a map.
