How about something that isn't Fallout or Elder Scrolls. How about something Cyberpunk or something Mass Effect eque from bethesda
How is this an example of women wanting special treatment? Another sad woman hating nerd, a dime a dozen.
I need a vita version, Please!!!
So if the next xbox has 8gigs of Gddr5 ram, it will basically be the same system as the ps4.
You sad nerds.
Did he just confirm that it red rings?
Loved the mass effect series, people who got mad at the story part need to get mad at something real
"Half Life 3 will suffer because people have impossible expectations for it"
That didn't stop Bioshock infinite from being a fantastic game. I don't know at this point, I want the game, but gamers act like the most entitled spoiled brats. Valve take the time to make their games fantastic, but half the time it sounds like the fans want them to CoD it and release it every year, make up your damn minds.
"Don't judge us by the actions of our government."
You do realize that government doesn't just exist in a vacuum separate from American society? Those actions were a result of both the perceptions of people at the time and government. so don't try a sugar coat American's past, just accept it for what it was, and try and learn from it.
Why wouldn't just compare video of each game, most games never look good in screenshots. Bf4 obviously looks great, but I'm still not interested in BF singleplayer unless it's the BC crew.
If 3.4 million isn't enough then the video game industry is going to crash real soon.
Zombies and Women? Geez, you guys don't like anything.
I'm almost convinced that 99% of male gamers hate women for some reason.
"The original demo showed her getting impaled through the side after a nasty fall and someone I knew kept complaining that Lara was "crying" throughout the demo."
It wasn't that she sounded like she was crying, it sounded like hardcore porn lol. I got bored durring that conference and I started doing something else, once that demo started I literally though that I had gone to some porn site.
"Im not at all against female characters being shown in a more positive light, but not when it gets in the way of creativity"
360, PS3, and PC release for Jan - March 2013 = 65 +-2
Out of those 65, only Tomb Raider was the only one with a female protagonist. Damn Laura, stifling that creativity.
Smartest post i've seen on n4g ever, kudos.
uhh, there only roles are to be "damsels in distress", they might be princesses of a make believe kingdom or part of the game lore; but ultimately they're only purpose for existing is to give mario and zelda an excuse to fight stuff.
I like cheese
So it's very telling that you had to make the "greatest non lead female characters" not the greatest lead female characters. This disparity in female lead characters compared to their male counter parts who dominate the industry is very troublesome for videogames. If videogames are supposed to be a medium where we experience other roles and worlds, why do we have such a problem experiencing the a game through eyes of another sex?
Why? People whine about Cod and its annualization, but they're ok with other studios being stuck on the same franchises and churning them out. I rather have a super creative team like bethesda working on new stuff.
