Rise of Tomb Raider added DX12 support last week. It feels like it runs about the same if not a bit worse.
If they delivers on creating a cool world like Witcher, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, GTA V and MGSV.
If the world feels hollow and empty, then it usually fails.
All the console turmoil makes me glad I spent my money on building a new PC.
Most of the 3rd party games come to PC, Xbox games are coming to PC, and we are starting to see more cross games.
Unfortunately I don't have much reverence for PS4 exclusive since I grew up with Nintendo consoles, and then I got a 360.
On top of that, I can get all the new games for $30 dollars on day and date.
Great time to be a PC gamer.
Same here, I asked a friend who had installed the latest drivers and nothing bad to report. I have a 970 gtx, and he has 980 gtx. Maybe it has something to do with lower cards.
Selling consoles doesn't matter that much. MS and Sony make most of their money on license. Last generation, that's where Xbox dominated in, that's why most 3rd party games were developed from there.
1. How can you say it has a more varied gaming experince when almost every single 3rd party game comes out on both platforms, even PC.
2. Is subjective, I mean you're not telling me the Order is good are you?
3. what the hell does this even mean?
Um, that's not true. In the PS2 era it was exclusives like MGS, GTA, and GT that sold sytems. I mean the xbox and the gamecube had better hardware, but the software was what pushed it.
The ps4 was the same way, the only problem there was that it was so expensive at launch and didn't have a great online infrastructure to compete with 360. That and most of the mulitplatform titles were better on 360.
PS advantage was always software, but in this c...
That only sells to the hardcore. Sales of the game have proven that.
I don't see why not, if anything it will make consoles irrelevant. I mean what exclusives does PS4 have that will push consoles?
The only reason it sold so well was because MS had such bad press with Kinect and the Online only stuff. If it wasn't for that, it would have carried the same momentum that the 360 did.
Honestly speaking, what games does the PS4 have that are console movers?
Just add a low priority. Longer game queues and only play with Rage quitters like in dota 2.
How is it losing value. You dont' have to invest 1k for a decent system. You can play the same games, and if you have both you have more options.
If anything if xbone can use the bigger market share they have if they combine PC and Xbone to get more exclusives.
What are you talking about, COD started on Pc, Skyrim and Fallout started on PC. All of these started there and ended up selling more on consoles.
You have no clue what you're even talking about, dipshit.
Wait, how do I know this isn't the UE from xbone, or the PC version of the GoW with a controller?
PC+Xbone and PC+Ps4 is where all this stuff is moving to. Pc isn't going to be a competitor as much as another arm of the product.
This is an eventuality. Xbox is not in competition with PC, it's a complementary arm.
"Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo Lead the Charge" Who the hell else is? What a dumb ass headline.
That's not a lot actually, considering it supposed to be the biggest draw of Xbox. Micro transactions aren't that bad, but if sales are that low they must be doing something wrong.
To be fair, the game isn't full price. On top of that on steam you can request refunds, so you have options.
Do people really care about trophies anymore. I play on steam and I don't even care about that stuff.
But this one makes sense.
