Nope, it's come back to PS3. They finally realized non-shooting exclusives on the 360 are meaningless as the 360 crowd rarely supports them.
Notice, I didn't say every, I said the large majority, which is true. I really doubt this game will even reach a million on the 360 but it will reach at least 2 million on PS3. I'm not hating, but it is true.
You could use two move controllers, problem solved. Or you could use a nav controller and give the player the ability to move around freely instead of the on-rails gameplay the Kinect needs.
Besides, say you used to moves, instead of having to flick you arm back to shoot, just aim and press a button, much easier and more accurate and they could lay off the very HEAVY aim assist.
Can't wait to play it on my PS3!
This may just be the first gen Nintendo looses their handheld dominance. Not to mention the fact that the Wii U seems to be poised to fail. The problem, I think, is that by trying the cash in on the DS and Wii names, Nintendo is actually confusing customers into thinking they're just add-ons, therefore reducing interest.
There were so many versions of the DS that people just don't differentiate.
IMO, Nintendo should have used totally original names fo...
Yep, kinda funny actually. How do they manage to track just 13 units sold. LOL.
In ONE week in Japan the PS3 pretty much negates whatever lead the 360 gets from NA. That's why NA =/= WW.
Because of incredibly stupid decisions. Japanese devs really thought that by supporting the 360, they'd do millions in NA (where the 360 leads by 11 million+). That was totally not the case and JRPGs struggle to even reach million if at all.
Kinda of funny that now they're all crawling back to PS3. The 360 simply doesn't support unique games. On 360, a game like HR would have totally bombed so would games like LBP and hell, maybe even Uncharted. Lost Odyssey is ...
Maybe now these Japanese companies will stick to PlayStation platforms and stop supporting a dead console. Take for example SE, I'm pretty sure that by releasing FFXIII on 360, they thought it would do millions in NA (especially considering the 360's 28 million+ units sold in NA) yet only barely reached a million lifetime.
It's obvious 360 owners (or the majority) don't give a crap about JRPGs so why continue flocking to the 360 when it'll just be a bust. ...
Comparing the 3DS to the Vita is a joke. Given they myriad of things Vita pulls, not to mention amazing graphics, if the Vita has a ~5hr life the 3DS should easily have 10 hr+ battery life. Shame on NIntendo.
SONY totally owned Nintendo. I mean, seriously, Vita gets the whole MGS HD collection, Nintendo just gets one (3), FFX coming to Vita, Zone of Enders, Two new SE JRPGs, MvC3 + SFxT, and a bunch of other games and apps and features. I mean, the Vita just absolutely wiped the floor with the 3DS.
PLUS, a December 17 release date, Nintendo now won't have the holidays all to themselves, at least in Japan.
I still think they should have stuck with Demon's Souls 2 as that would get them more sales outside Japan. Beside, the very large majority of 360 owners won't buy unless it has a gun in it.
Nonetheless, I'll be buying Dark Souls.
I played the demo and it would be much easier with the Wii or Move. First off, it wouldn't be on rails, you could control the character. Secondly, you would be able to aim and shoot with much more precision. I say this cause the hand you use to aim is also the hand you much pull back in order to shoot which means that it disturbs the aiming. Besides, AUTO AIM is really, really a big part.
I don't see see what part of the game is not possible on Wii and PS3. Hell, it...
I've seen those deals but they're mostly on really expensive TVs. MS gives 360's away even with cheaper $600-$700 PCs.
Kreate
PS3 has been selling on average 2-3 million more per year than the 360. Get this through your thick skull, THE 360 HAD ONE YEAR on the market completely alone, ONE AND HALF YEARS in Europe. So if this number are just "ok" then you must think the 360 is doing terrible.
Vita is beast.
They really want to fend of Nintendo and the ball is in their court. Now is as good as ever to go in for the kill, at least in Japan (for now).
Excellent numbers for SONY. Keep up the great work!
IGN milking it for all it's worth, lol. I predict a solid 9.
yea, like WTF is this article. Extremely high price? The Ipad is like 600 bucks (and that's the low end edition, the 3G model costs like 800 bucks) and it does way less than the Vita. The 3DS launched at the same price.
Games will be cheaper (I'm guessing they'll be $40) and at least in Japan, the 3G plans seem reasonable. Besides, the VIta will also support small, simple games like those on the Iphone and androids.
Seriously, WTH is this "au...
