It sucks this isn't a full retail title.
Usually if it's released on PSN/XBLA that means it's a game that doesn't have that AAA shine, and is usually a short experience.
It sucks we can't have a new survival horror blockbuster. It's been a while since we've gotten one of those..:(
Damn straight.
WTF? Could this be a non shitty movie game? Gods be good.
You do realize that the theme song your talking about is skippable, and not even IN THE GAME. Tom Hullet talked about Korn, and knew Silent Hill fans would be upset. They said Konami pushed them to get a big name group to do the music, from the list of shitty bands they picked the least shittiest.
So stop hatin bro.
Ah well agree to disagree. I thought the humor was hilarious but whateves.
It seems that the people at Vatra know what there doing. I have a feeling it won't be quite on par with Silent Hill 1-4, but it'll defintly be a little brother that everyone will admire to...hopefully.
Seriously? Shadows of the Damned is easily in my top 5 of 2011. The atmosphere, the comedy, the writing, is all top notch.
Your harsh bro. What was bad about the game? The humor isn't for everyone, that's for sure, the game can also drag a bit, and the gameplay isn't anywhere near the pedigree of Bayonetta, or Vanquished. But still there's nothing like Shadows of the Damned out there. It's a fun game, that's very light hearted, with a nice Grindhouse f...

Um..wat? :0
Disagree. How about you learn how to be creative? Take artistic risks, create risky narratives, with risky characters. Do gameplay ideas that no one has ever thought of.
No offense to Ubisoft, but this whole "Next GENRRRATION!! NOOOWWWW!" is sounding like a crutch.
2012 seems way early to announce a new xbox. There doing so many things with the dashboard, and improving the live experience, and you see Microsoft really knees deep in kinect. It doesn't make sense for it to have a life span of 1-2 years considering the fact that Microsoft considers it a console of it's own.
I think a 2013 reveal is more sensible with a 2014-2015 launch.
Guess you've never played Alice: Madness Returns.
Though, doesn't matter much considering gamers (the people who aren't hardcore, and really only have xbox to play COD) don't really care for creativity. Sad but true.
Uh-huh. John Carmack recently said we still have a LONG way to go before truly tapping the current gen systems out.
Plus, the L.A Noire example they gave was a bad one. The reason it came out on 3 disks was because the motion capturing system they used took so much space.
What Chapter are you on?
Surprised you weren't wooed by the art style. One of the best artsy games this gen. Then the whole lore of Alice, and the story...it's on a different level in terms of scope and uniqueness this gen.
Yes lets just ignore the plethora of examples that don't resemble Vin Diesel! :1

Don't forget about skyrim ;)
Prey 2 is going places. It has potential, huge potential in fact. Granted very rarely games are as good as they look. The atmosphere in those gameplay trailers left me breathless. This has a chance to be a Sci-Fi Red Dead Redemption, I hope they don't blow it.
Ehh..kinda. It's good if you want to play a short game like Vanquished (which takes roughly 5-6 hours to complete), and your able to finish it in one sitting. In that case paying 2$ is a steal.
Any more than that...no...way to expensive.
I'm pretty sure the reason it took so long to develop was because of the Facial Capture System. They were always trying to improve, and get the tech right...so really confused as to why ign is even asking this question.
