For some reason I don't think this is a game that would be released this gen. With how long Nomura takes to release his games, I could easily see this being a lunch title for the ps4/xbox 720.
Capcom already talked about a continuation of Marvel vs. Capcom. There talking about this "new game" as something else.
Let's remember capcom did promise 2 new ip's (one being dragons dogma) for 2012.
Question: When should you walk away?
Answer that the media gives: After your teen years. Enough of that silly nonsensical stuff, that's like rotten candy to the brain.
Answer a gamer gives: Why should you walk away from something you love? Is that what being adult means? Abandoning what makes you..you?
It feels that videogames are a cause of hate. Like for some, odd, reason there still considered childish, and foolish, and just plain nonsensical for an adult to do.
Yet has the media (who write ignorant articles like such) never played a game like Mass Effect, Bioshock, Red Dead Redmeption, L.A Noire, etc. that probably rival the originality of 100 million blockbusters in film.
Or do they still think we are only secluded to games like gta, and mario?
Here, here!
If you haven't felt an emotional connect yet in a video game makes me think that you haven't played that many video games.
Bioshock alone, so many emotional experiences there.
Bioshock is a brand name that everyone will recongnize.
If someone who isn't really familar with System Shock, or Bioshock, people will simply assume Areoshock is just some new ip, which usually makes people cautious in whether it's worth there money or not. Having that Bioshock name let's them know this is part of the Bioshock franchise, thus bringing WAY more customers, and WAY more sales.
Think of it like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. If they ...
Watching a movie like this

isn't considered "odd" for an adult to watch.
Playing a videogame like this

is?
Give me an...
What? Really? So playing something like Ico, a beautiful surreal artistic masterpiece is considered, odd.
Why do get the feeling they googled video games, and the first picture they got was call of duty and made a whole news story on this.
This feels like one of those awkward moments...hmmm.
Agreed. This story is about building a connection with Elizabeth. You can't do that with a silent protagonist.
GTA V being set in L.A isn't exactly breaking news. It's been rumored for months.
Every event in that demo could've been avoided, or occured in a different way according to Levine. It's all about your choices. If you shoot the horse then the time warp to NYC never occurs. Don't speakup for the postman, you don't get into a fight. When Elizabeth asks if you would rather get supplies, or go straight to Comstock, and if you did indeed chose to go straight to him then you'll avoid that particular scenario as well.
It's all about choices. ...
This has game of the generation type of stuff written all over it. Demo was godly. Can't wait for 2012.
Meh, I don't know.
Alot of my friends bought Bioshock simply because it's atmosphere and narrative were so strong that they were glad to replay a game like that over and over again.
The narrative is one of the main reasons why most people buy Ken's games. I suspect they'll do the same.
The level of imagination in this game makes me shed a tear. Literally shits on practically any game I played in the past 4 years.
Such a surge of emotion in that 15 minute demo, brilliant stuff.
WHY Kojima? Why can't we get a effin' game instead!?!!?
I'm pretty sure Randy Pitchford of Gearbox said he would love for the current generation to continue.
Why developers are in such a rush for the new gen baffles me. There development costs are going to go up ten fold. If I was a developer I would be scared out of my mind knowing the next game I make, this 100 million next gen title, failing means my whole studio sinks (like the Lair devs for the ps3).
Way to compare 2 games that are completely different from each other.
Hell, why not compare Uncharted to Heavy Rain now?
