Why? It's not a shooter with action pieces galore. It'll more than likely get Heavy Rain like sales which is still good imo.
No game deserves a zero. X-Play (when they were good) had a rule about give 0's. They said they would NEVER give a 0 because they know actual people dedicated actual TIME to work on it. Same with DNF. No matter how much you like it, or hate it, fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, they all took time and poured alot of there energy into this title.
For shame.
This is what pisses me off. A game like Duke Nukem juvenile, offensive, embarrassing in some cases, gets the SAME EXACT score as Alice 2, which is beautiful and lovely, and a game that is like Uncharted compared to that piece of shit game. yet it gets the same damn score.

I mean the list can go on and on. What we saw at e3 was just a quarter of all the games that are supposed to be released in the near future.

Still really good for a genre as such. A game that's linear, and doesn't have you shooting at every living thing. A step in the right direction if you ask me.
And people still want to rush into the next gen. Christ, look here people. People will lose there jobs even MORE SO. Middle class gaming is almost extinct. Games like Folk Lore, or Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom can't co exsist anymore. It's now AAA, with guns ablazing, or go home.
Just because it's for next gen, doesn't mean it's for NEXT GEN. Everything is still referred as next gen, even the current consoles. :/
this is why I don't get why people are in such a rush for a new gen. The consoles have alot of life in them, and it seems were just so hasty for this holy next gen.
Besides that, there's the logistic side to it all. For example; this gen has caused SO MANY studios to shut down because they couldn't keep up with the high production costs for AAA games. What do you think the next gen will bring? Even HIGHER production costs, resulting in more shut downs of studios....
A f'in joke if you ask me. Finished the game tonight, equally as good as the first. Graphics are rough around the edges, frame rate is shaky, combat is a bit meh. But the art direction, the story, the music, and everything that makes alice, alice is there.
Look at the positive reviews and they'll tell you, this game is just as good as Alice 1.
Don't trust the review, they don't get it. The game is great.

Look on metacritc dude. There's been plenty of 8's and 9's. Heck, it has a near 70 on metacritic.

Why? Well here's why. It's the fact that everyone will look at the review score and notice a 5/10, or a 6/10, and think "bah, this games garbage." JUST BASED ON THE SCORE. It pisses me off because people have become WAY to dependent on review scores, and have forgotten how to be there own reviewers.

Who the hell cares. Play the games, and be your OWN reviewer, with your OWN score.
The games good. Reviewers can't review for shit unless if it's some AAA blockbuster fps with more epic set scenes than in Battle LA.
