Don't get the hate for this franchise. The series has a shitload of potential, eidos has just never found it's stride. There good at making games, hitman speaks volumes about what there capable of. They just need to cap it off right. Don't abandon k&l. There is a piece of gold, buried under that sand and dirt.
They are making Hitman 5. There's already a few leaked images..there'll be an e3 blowout for sure...
To be honest I think the term "video game" is out of date. The industry has grown up SO much since the 8bit era, and to call them video games makes me cringe. I don't know if the term interactive entertainment is better, but to me, if I had no idea what a video game was, I would've thought it's some toy you play on your screen. But obviously it's much more than that...
How about the term, Interactive Media?
THAT said though, I still think the guy is wrong. Videogames have ALL the potential in the world to be as captivating in terms of narrative as books, or movies. Honestly it wasn't that JUVENILE if you ask me. The narrative, and the characters were actually one of the BEST aspects about Bulletstorm.
For the first time (well not the first, but in a long time) I actually WANTED to kill the antoganist. I HATED serrano as much as Greyson did. The narrative was a character and his path towards redemption, I wanted that REDEMPTION as much as grey did.

The gameplay is basically like GTA, but with a more fluid cover system. The driving is very realistic, but there is an option where you can switch it to arcade mode.
It takes place an open world, and you can visit shops, and upgrade your car and whatnot but that's basically it. The whole game is very story driven. If you like games that devote 100% of it's energy towards the story than you'll love mafia 2.

I can list hundreds of counter arguments on how the ps3 will OVERTAKE the 360. But I won't. Why? Because it's pointless arguing that leads to nothing. Article is trolling plain and simple.
Who comes up with these shitty rumors? Personally I don't see the next transition till 2015...way to early till then. If we got the next gen in the next few years, then we'll see games at around 80-90$, the consoles will probably cost 700-600$ at the LEAST, and no one will buy it. The industry will crash before our very eye's. Only now developers have been able to recoop from the high development cost of this gen. Imagine what will happen if a new gen comes in the next few years? ...
As sad as it's to see people lose jobs, and to see publishers go in a dwindling industry like ours, I see no loss. They've struggled from the get go, and have yet to publish a SOLID title. All the whiles they've lied, and screwed gamers over.
Last I checked Xenoblade, Dragon Quest X, and the Last Story aren't coming to the states. We know barely anything about Pandora's Tower, and all we have from it is a measly flash site.
So that basically leaves Kirby Adventure, and Zelda. Um yay!?

What? Get your facts straight. He didn't trash LA Noire. He trashed the facial capturing system, saying that it's a dead end due to the fact that it can't read both the body, and the face thus creating this unbalanced dynamic.
