Unfortunately, DX9 only in the demo.
A PC monitor with 1680x1050 or 1920x1200 resolution can be found for as low as $150.
I'll probably get this. Only $40 and it's supposed to be even better than Shadow of Chernobyl.
Personally, I think reviewers should wait until at least launch day before making their decision on a multiplayer game.
Yep, Minh Le wanted to change the Counter-Strike gameplay a lot but knew that that would really piss off the CS community. So he left Valve and started work on what he wanted the Counter-Strike sequel to be. Valve is still free to work on a Counter-Strike 2, though.
Blizzard are constantly adding and removing new features and units. Many of them we don't even know about.

You should never compare a mod to a professionally-developed game. Mods are just a couple people working in their spare time while retail games cost millions of dollars and can have over a hundred people working on them.
If those numbers are just right now, imagine how large the total numbers are.
Basically, it's how much traffic the story receives.
They have the certification to develop for the Xbox 360. They will start work on a 360 port after Call of Pripyat is released.
Their games have actually sold very well. The original sold over 2 million which is amazing considering it was from a small developer with little marketing support and PC exclusive. STALKER also released around the same time as Crysis did (which sold over 2 million as well; probably over 3 million by now).
This review made me excited about the game again.
It will happen.
Did you read the review? The writing is just average; nothing special.
There will be a Dragon Age 2 and a Mass Effect 3.
These aren't quite the final graphics. DICE said that the beta build is branched off of the main build and is older. The main build is the one that will be shipped when the game launches.
Adjustable FOV is being worked on.
This comes straight from the mouth of repi, a Frostbite software architect at DICE.
It's a beta. They have a month to fix issues. Don't worry.
The beta performs perfectly fine on my computer, though. E6600 @ 3GHz, 8800 GTS 512, and 4GB of RAM. I get around 30 to 60 FPS with medium-high settings, 2x AA, 16x AF at 1680x1050. Guess I'm a lucky one, eh?
The lag should be sorted out soon. That's actually DICE's #1 priority right now.
Lost and Damned achievements were added to the PC version in December, so I'm assuming a PC version will come eventually.
