I go with whatever has the best price-to-performance ratio. I've always been NVIDIA until this generation. I have an ATI HD 5870 right now and I'm pretty happy with it, though I think NVIDIA's drivers are better. The interface is just nicer and more polished and they have a lot more features. The game profiles feature that NVIDIA has is something ATI does not and it's really useful.
To be fair, Bad Company is a console series. It's the version of Battlefield that's made for consoles, and number 2 just happened to get released on PC.
Naw, just 3.
I can sorta understand censoring SHIT but why censor BLOWING?
WHAT THE FUCK!
Crytek said that several publishers have already licensed CryENGINE 3 to be used in games so... nyah-hah!
This? This is an advertisement.
Muse are all over the place with their genres. They've done prog rock, heavy metal, pop, classical, and even rap. Even though they've done Twilight stuff, I still think they're a great band because they experiment with their music and don't get too comfortable with what they're good at. Oh, and their live performances are FUCKING INCREDIBLE.
Very impressive. Their service is advertised through the great games Valve makes and their amazing sales. The only time I've seen Steam advertised on TV is in a little Steam logo at the end of a game commercial.
Publishers are very much behind the concept of OnLive because it 100% eliminates both piracy and the used games market.
More games will come with time. The tech behind OnLive is pretty great and even if it does fail, the technology will be used elsewhere.
It's fake. George Broussard, one of the creators of the Duke Nukem series who has close connections at Valve, said that it's all made up.

DotA started as a custom WarCraft 3 map based on the custom StarCraft map Aeon of Strife.
It's one of the most played online games today with I'd estimate around 20 million players. Have you heard of League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth? Those are games based on the DotA formula that aren't quite as popular as the original, but still have millions of players. Demigod is another game based on DotA gameplay, but that game kinda failed.
Um, Valve already said that Left 4 Dead 3 will not release before 2012.
DOTA 2 sounds awesome.
I have to agree.
PC > PS3 > 360
360 version has slightly sharper textures sometimes than the PS3, but the lighting and shadows in the PS3 version are better. PC version has the best everything, including colors. PS3 is a little washed out with the colors, but it's close to the PC version; the 360 version's colors are a bit over-exaggerated.
Treyarch got a lot of flak for their first Call of Duty games, but since then they've really shown themselves to be a competent developer. They're still just building off of the formula Infinity Ward created, though.
Console versions are still peer-to-peer.
It was recorded on a PC.
Some people use a 360 controller for flying planes and helicopters (because the analogs are more similar to a flight stick) and then switch over to keyboard and mouse for on-foot action. I did the same in GTA4.
He said 5970, the dual-GPU card.
