Beastly lighting engine. It's like they took the lighting from Mirror's Edge and made it 10x better.
Hmm... I wouldn't say better graphics. Fancier graphics, yes; better graphics, no.
PhysX can be either GPU accelerated with CUDA on NVIDIA GPUs or be CPU accelerated.
Wow, EA, plug your leaks.
EDIT: According to an official post on the Bioware forums, the leak is fake...?
Maybe this is a reason why their games are so good: they have happy employees.
Never would've thought to see CD Projekt RED make one of the best looking games of the year. Some of those outdoor screenshots look almost "Crysis 2-quality".
You act as if they owe us a game. You should be happy that they're taking their time with their games rather than dumping out $15 map packs every 4 months.
EA saw the potential to make Dead Space a more appealing game to the mainstream. It was also easier to do so since it's a third-person shooter. Mirror's Edge, on the other hand, is a first-person platformer at its core. Sure, you could give the game a heavier emphasis on shooting and add in multiplayer, but at that point is it still Mirror's Edge?
Dragon Age looked pretty great, imo.

Putting more people on a project doesn't always equate to a better end result.
Most of the focus on development was put on the PC version and the PC version has the biggest community. The beta for the game was downloaded over a million times in just a few days.
You can play PC games with Xbox 360 controllers, fyi.
I'll say $350 tops. They're going to be super mass manufacturing these things which will help costs a little.
Any more and Sony will risk doing another PS3. The PS3 worked out in the end, but the way it started was very risky.
The Tegra 2 has 8 GPU cores according to NVIDIA.
And the difference is 11 months. (Optimus 2X was released a couple days ago)
Yeah, it looks like medium settings on the PC version but with better lighting and worse textures. Yes, there are a few months until the game releases, but at this stage in development I don't expect the graphics to become significantly better.
The ITU loosened their definition of 4G because T-Mobile, with their HSPA+, and Sprint, with their Wi-Max, continued to market their networks as 4G even after the ITU released the technical specs for 4G.
So, technically, 4G does exist.
I know it's only been out for a couple months, but 4G LTE would've been nice. Not only is it faster but it also has a lot lower latency which would be ideal for multiplayer gaming.
You don't need to be online to play games. Steam has an offline mode. You download the games to your hard drive and launch them through Steam.
I'm actually kinda surprised considering that People Can Fly started life as a PC-only developer. It's not a terrible port, but the game has some pretty obvious issues such as mouse acceleration and having no 16:10 aspect ratio (you get black bars if you play at 1680x1050 or any other 16:10 res).
