Huh, The Witcher never ran that poorly for me. I was able to maintain great frame rates in the city areas on high settings 1680x1050 on a 7900 GT 512. The only times when the frame rates dipped was in the swamp area. But I'm sure my computer will no longer have a problem with that since it's now equipped with an 8800 GTS 512.

I'm hoping we get this game before 2010.

I've been waiting for a sequel to the greatest game ever made for far too long.

I'm hoping for a summer 2009 release, but that's just me being the optimistic fellow that I am...

'09 will bring StarCraft 2.

Star-Craft-TWO.

I believe the N4G guidelines state that you should add topics for a game only for the systems which the story pertains to. So, for example, this story pertains only to the PC version, therefore you would choose only the PC topic.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

All I see is a couple seconds of TF2.

Huh?

Sounds like Clear Sky is still plagued by the problems that Shadow of Chernobyl had--bugs. But I'm sure once those get patched up, Clear Sky will be a great game.

EA has deep, deep pockets.

They could air Superbowl commercials if they wanted to.

Perhaps you're the one who has bad tastes in games.

Valve has yet to disappoint me.

What are you talking about, Bangladesh?

Just hook up your PC to your HDTV, put on a headset, and talk to the 65% of surveyed Steam users (1,143,767 people) who have microphones.

Mmm... September 4 is going to be a fun day.

PC games back in the day were way more difficult to get running than they are today, and those games were very popular. People who complain about that stuff today are just lazy.

Well, when Deep Silver was contacted, they said the "Steam version will probably be delayed."

6501d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Why do people always say this? It's obviously not true.

A decent mid-range PC (which, if you build, should cost around $600 barebones) will be able to play all the latest games for 2-3 years before requiring maybe a $150 investment to play all the latest games at good settings.

Anywho, accessibility is good, but we need complex games that require lots of thought, too. A balanced mix between the two would be nice. As of now, however, it seems that the board has tilted...

Sucks how Deep Silver is making Steam delay the game too.

I'm pretty sure everybody has heard of Rakion, and it's not an MMO.

I've heard of Shaiya before, but I've never tried it.

Steam has been doing it with some of their games lately.

Pre-order Far Cry 2, get Far Cry.
Pre-order Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, get Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30.
And there was another lesser known game that I can't seem to remember.
