Agreed. I use the YouTube app on ps3 everyday, but it's by no means a good app unless you remote pair it with a mobile device.
Thanks.
Did they say anything about the social apps? I can't find anything about them.
I'm hoping the YouTube app can run with a game suspended, too.
Edit: I better not have to wait to get YouTube in Canada like I did on ps3! That was butt. My Vita could do it before my ps3 could.
Yeah, I need me a YouTube app. The one on ps3 is garbage, but it's still perfectly usable because of remote pairing with my phone.
Also, I would prefer if YouTube can be used while a game is suspended. Vita can't do it, but it's also weaker and I don't need the functionality on Vita.
After YouTube, I just need my DLNA support. Then, the ps4 will be everything I need.
Microsoft does have a rich history of fine PC games.
I played a lot of them.
AoE, Motocross Madness, Flight Sim, Midtown Madness, I'm sure there's more that I can't think of right now
It needs sponsors outside of the gaming or tech industries to succeed. The problem is that for an esports scene to develop around a game, there has to be some staying power behind said game. As technology advances, games that were once new become easily playable at highest settings and are no longer a showcase of a sponsor's hardware offerings (save maybe peripherals)
In the mid 2000's there was a huge first person shooter esports scene, and not having sponsors like C...
@Maki
But, of course. I'm not claiming that it's something new to the industry.
It is, however, new to me, and I cannot wait to make use of it.
I think it was just a semantic or language error.
Aside,
I can't wait to try remote play on Vita. I was unimpressed with both the performance and number of titles on ps3, but everything about it looks better for ps4.
Now, I'll be able to play ps4 games while the girlfriend plays GTA V on ps3. Sweeeeeeeeet. (We only have one TV)
I think my plan is to head to ebgames after work next Friday. I will pick up my ps4/games, then I will proceed to get on public transit and go home.
On said public transit, I will be fumbling with this phone to post on n4g because of:
A) excitement, and
B) my fingers will be ****ing freezing
Yep.
The principle is not exclusive to gaming, either.
It just happens to be the safest bet, business-wise.
CoD is sure in for competition like it hasn't seen before.
I'm genuinely excited for Killzone. All the footage and previews and such make it seem like the series is finally going to have its moment. (Not that the previous games weren't good)
And on the other side:
I'm genuinely jealous about Titanfall. Pair the hype and previews with the pedigree of the team behind it, and it's going to be a fantastic game.
The author is on the same page as you.
The title is click bait.
I disregarded the part about The Last of Us. I figured that the writer was referring to the particular network that he writes for when he mentioned the ratings.
As for the grammar, I believe that it's almost commonplace in amateur gaming news sites to have errors. I was more referring to content when I said it was well written.
I try not to fault one for his grammar. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who's seen grammatically correct rubbish o...
Agreed. Well written indeed.
You partial quoted me, and you did it opposing the context I was making.
My point in that statement was to disregard excuses of "I don't have anything to hide."
While I certainly don't agree with Kinect or the policies that can make use of it, I'm not going to use a gaming news site as a soapbox for the issue. Surely, there are better venues.
I'd rather argue about gaming, not politics. I completely understand that t...
For the most part, I will agree with the IGN bashing. Some of the game reviews blow my mind.
I will, however, say that they have a lot of reviewers, and a few of them aren't bad. For example, I don't think I've disagreed with a review that Colin has written.
Still not as bad as Polygon.
mcstorm just killed it.
Have a bubble and a good day, sir.
Yep.
I'm not in this to change the media or to change other gamers' minds. I'm in this to play games.
The best thing anyone can do is find out the facts for themselves and purchase accordingly.
My bad.
Must have read something wrong.
Try out the friends app!
Man, that's slick.
If it were on PS4, then I'd buy it.
