The numbers in question are from this week. Not the whole lifespan(Although Mario Kart 8 easily has the potential to outsell both combined over it's lifespan). Please pay attention to the content of the video next time.
They are, did you not hear about them reprinting gamecube controllers(Smash Bros themed ones none-the-less) and putting out a Wii U adapter for them? It's pretty great.
Sega sure does what Nintendon't.
Like not localizing their biggest games *cough*Yakuza 5
Giving up on series like Shenmue that are loved by many
Publishing shitty games like Aliens: Colonial Marines
Having lack luster first party studios to the point where Sonic, their biggest franchise, is being outsourced to Naughty Dog
Yes, the failure of the Wii U that has begun to turn a profit. If you posted that comment a year ago maybe it would've been true but now it's just blatant fanboy ignorance.
If you actually read the article you'd find Iwata is not in good health and was advised not to travel.
Thanks for not reading the article and propagating the spread of ignorance.
Wow, clearly you didn't even read the article. His physician advised him not to travel. Meaning he's ill or suffering other conditions making him unfit for traveling overseas. Decency is not the issue health is.
0/10 troll go home
Directs are pre-recorded for the most part so I would hope so.
Nintendo restructuring their European branch shows their lack of faith in business model apparently.
Watch_Dogs gives you the thrill of taking $1700 out of the bank account of someone who only makes $27,000 a year and donates to public schools. With no consequences for this heinous action.
I hope it's Demon's Souls 2
Then they've already won.
And why would they waste ink printing "For internal workers eyes only" or whatever? It'd make much more sense to just tell whoever they gave the packet to "Hey, this shit be secret"
"Next Sega in 2 years"
I didn't know Sega had 3 billion in the bank, were profiting off of the dreamcast, and had upcoming games coming out that were guaranteed to sell when they dropped out of the console race.
Oh wait. THEY DIDN'T
*List containing over 15 games that appeals to most audiences*
"Kinda weak"
Logic
19k sales in half a week. So you're looking more at 30-40k in a week. Which is pretty swell.
It's horrible numbers, eh? Okay, let's say, just in theory. That they kept up these numbers for the rest of the year. Where is your precious PS3 sales in comparison then, huh?
Sold more than Watch Dogs did in that time.
It took Watch Dogs a week to get 5 million across five platforms. That's one million per platform in seven days. Mario Kart 8 managed 1.2 million in two days on one console.
So really, Watch Dogs is extremely unimpressive compared to Mario Kart.
You can't judge a game based on early videos that are at less than 30fps because they were still in ALPHA stages. But I guess it's too difficult to hold your judgement until more videos are released with MUCH more complete builds. Seriously, wait until Sega shows it off at E3 when it'll be in a more polished state.
No, but you know what will? Nintendo's big releases being this year while more and more PS4/XBONE games are being pushed back to 2015. What do you think will sell more this holiday season, a poster telling you to pre-order The Order: 1886 and Arkham Knight? Or Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, and Smash Bros all lined up for you to buy RIGHT NOW?
I'll let you think about that.
$99 for 2DS? Time to pick one up for the lady then.
