How long will it be before gaming hardware becomes so powerful that utilizing that power creates bloated budgets that cause unreachable sales goals?
We already saw that a little bit last generation when RE6's sales were considered "a failure" despite exceeding 4 millon. And the millions Tomb Raider sold it's first year barely broke even.
People need to understand what words mean and that some words hold more weight than others. In article titles. It's always "X is racist" or "X's design is over-sexualized". Then you actually read them and you find the titles should be:
"X may be racist if you think about it too hard" or "X's design is sexualized. Not overly so, however"
Correction. It wasn't well received by fans. But it got a 79 on metacritic(Mostly 4/5 reviews) and sold well. And it wouldn't be another case of Other M since Sakamoto. The guy responsible for that train wreck, no longers works on Metroid.
It's not rehashing if the old technology was god damn genius. I sold nearly all my GC compatible tech but I still kept the controller because they're the best. The only thing the controller isn't good at is FPS games. Which, if you're buying Nintendo, chances are you don't play a whole lot of those.

Demos are rarely a good thing to pass judgement on a game for. If you judged Bioshock on it's demo you'd think it's a survival-horror game. Which if you play the whole thing. You'll find is hardly the case. If you only played the demo disc of Conker: Live and Reloaded. You'd think it's a WWII game with squirrels. Which is not accurate in the slightest
