It also will help Vita game sales a lot. Many want to play Vita games but don't want to spend $200 and the additional memory card cost for a handheld console. So the TV being $100 and supporting 90% of Vita's library is a godsend for those who didn't want to pay for the Vita's high price.
They CURRENTLY don't work. But with the recent addition of DS4 support(TV didn't have that when it launched in Japan) they very well could add support since the touch pad can work in the place of a touch screen.

To be fair that ruins some of the suspense of Minecraft. Part of the Minecraft experience(Back when I played it which was before 1.1) was getting hit by a skeleton than trying to quickly rifle through your inventory for a bow and barely surviving the encounter. Only to get a jump scare when another one comes out of nowhere and takes your final heart.
On Wii U/3DS you'd just be able to run away while fishing it out. Which makes the game a little too easy.

No it's not. Because all the Link's, Zelda's, Ganondorf's are reincarnations. Doomed to be locked in eternal turmoil. The most deviation we see is in the Hero Falls timeline where Link and Zelda change hair colors "Because the bloodline weakened" which was really just a clever cover up for changing their appearance in later games. So unless the Hero Falls timeline continues with the weakening bloodline trend, I doubt we'll see a Link of another race.
Not to mention Link never had a pigmentation disorder.
The problem isn't proprietary memory cards. It's that these cards are expensive as hell and don't drop in price at all. $68 for a 32gb card STILL. With Pro Duo cards at least it dropped below $50 pretty quickly. But that was only because they worked in other Sony devices.

We're not getting enough though. Already we're seeing piles of games running at 30fps. And we all know why that is. Because they are trying to put out graphical showcases. We could have fun, beautiful games that run at 60fps and DON'T go nuts on graphics but that'd make to much sense. But it seems we're in for another generation of low framerates but nice graphics.
