I think this event is going to be like E3 -> one big disappointment
First of all I love FF and my PS3.
This was the best thing MS could do! I think they've tried to get MGS instead of FF but maybe the contract between Sony and Konami was too 'solid'.
It is a huge announcement in my opinion because everyone said:
"PS3 will succeed because of MGS4 and FFXIII".
These two titles were seen as huge System Sellers. MGS4 failed, so FFXIII was the last hope!

I think there is still a chance 360 will see MGS 4 down the road.
But I'd suppose it will be months (at least 3, maybe more or less depending on how many copies are sold) after the PS3 release.
And of course it would be a multiple DVD version.
You have to remember, 360 has a huge userbase ($$$).
Konami wants the money, but Kojima does not want MGS4 on 360...
