Maybe yes, maybe no.
Maybe the initial concept hasn't worked as cool as it sounded.
Maybe they couldn't do it on consoles that time.
We'll never know.
Just be glad you've liked the game, hopefully you've bought it to support the developers...
"If u see gameplay u can judge it"
Shadow of the Colossus & ICO have to be played to be judged for example.
You're listing such games yourself: Could you judge mw2,mw3,DA2 just by the gameplay vids?
But I get your point, a gameplay vid is a better indicator for a game than just a trailer. I think people got excited because of the mood/atmosphere and the setting of the trailer. Not just fighting infected people but fighting other humans to survive (sur...
Yeah the original concept seemed to be an awesome game. Maybe too ambitious for their first "NextGen" project
(e.g.: getting your head around the restrictions of a console).
1) Alan Wake has been released some time ago...
2) We know little about TLOU
3) This article has nothing to do with TLOU

check their released games that's how they've earned their reputation.

o.O
Before VGA I heard the rumor about Command & Conquer: Alliances and didn't care. But Generals is my favorite C&C.
Nice one!
Btw: "Victory studio formed beginning of the year, became a part of BioWare in the summer – It’s not even the same BioWare who makes Mass Effect, Dragon Age, etc. They just attached “BioWare” to this other EA studio."
"He said that the old Rising “was very Metal Gear” and featured complex controls. Kojima also acknowledged that the title’s colors/tone are no longer like Metal Gear."
Seems like: "Don't make it look like I have been involved! Don't mess with my name PLEASE!"
;)
"[...] full support of Capcom despite fan reaction"
Seems like the right direction, because this game will be bought by NT & Capcom executives and not fans of DMC...

'Nuff said if you've been following recent news about "The Last Of Us" :)
"And Crytek’s engine is among the best in the market as it can power almost anything; from soccer games to space sims."
LOL...
Last year we had the opportunity to make a game based on CryEngine 3 (studying Computer Science in Germany) and someone of Crytek came over for a quick Q&A session about the engine and what we wanted to do. He said: It's a shooter engine, if you get father away from that concept it's going to be really tough!

Hopefully just a memory leak which gets fixed, if it is dependant on filesize of the savegame a lot of people will be screwed!!!
Would be the worst case: Hey you can't use your old savegame but when you start a new game everything will be fine!
I am at 11MB and the patch is coming after thanksgiving!
EDIT: @LettingGo: I've played agree fairy... ;)
Well thats why I've bought Skyrim for my console (no pun intended). I've bought Morrowind & Oblivion on release for PC and everytime there was a tricky part I cheated my way out of it. I had to collect (insert number) of (insert item)??? Ok, let's see which console command was that?
It ruined the games a bit for me and it was all my fault but I've learned my lesson. I've rebought Oblivion and beat it fair & square. That's what I'll do with Skyrim. A...
There are more than 30 crimson nirnroots in this area believe me! Have you checked every building? Check every place with water e.g. one was in a pipe
EDIT: If you use the commands once, you'll do again and it will probably ruin your experience!
Console commands are just like drugs, learn from my fail!
I'm from germany and I've bought it on October 26.
Sorry but this is only 50% correct AFAIK.
Yes, no current console constructor uses their own graphics chip.
No, hasn't been that way for quite a few generations -> e.g.: PlayStation 2's Graphics Synthesizer
OMG! What's wrong with them? Anyone who thinks DICE doesn't know how to develop for PS3 should stfu! PS3 is old! No it is freaking ancient!
Read this:

I think they know what they are doing! At least they put some thought behind their PS3 tech. They could have gone the easy way and give us a shitty port ...
AFAIR Reggie said something like: "We won't use technology from a different company!" (regarding the type of optical storage)
I think if they'd want to use BluRay they'd have to pay Sony (and some others) -> http://www.blu-raydisc.info
Wouldn't it be better to sell your Wii since Wii U is backwards compatible? You could still enjoy Xbox exclusives since you already own one. Seems to be the best way if you want to play all games.
(FYI: I don't own a 360, just PC+PS3+Wii)
I'm still wondering about the feeling of the Wii U controller...
Will it be awkward? Will it be as good as a traditional pad?
Seen the Getaway Tech-demo for PS3?
Haven't seen a game looking that good till now.
I won't say Wii U isn't capable of PS3/360 games running in native 1080p (30fps for sure, don't know about 60fps not enough informations about the exact speccs) just take tech demos with a grain of salt.
@Everyone who believes Wii U will NOT be more powerful than PS3/360:
6 years old tech is damn cheap right now and I don't think it would co...
hmmmm... if you think about it PS3 and PS Vita could be doing something very similar. And I wouldn't consider it being an afterthought because of Wii U's success.
And if you are referring to Move, check your facts. This idea has been in R&D at Sony long before Wii.
" “I probably should have stepped in,” Kojima admitted via translator during the question and answer session. The problem, he says, was one of leadership. He had hoped that allowing his staff to spearhead a project on their own would help some of his team grow into the position of game designers. But things didn't pan out quite as he'd hoped. "
" And Kojima wasn't ready to take the project over for himself. The whole swordplay thing? “That wasn'...
