Has anyone else seen Elenas (engagement-?) ring?
1:57 E3 Trailer
Insomniac are good developers. Very loyal to the PS brand over years. Great (well Resistance 2 was not great but good IMHO) games and great franchises were brought to our favorite console.
They will still support PS3 with exclusive titles. Now they are trying to make more money with multiplatform games. So what?
You've got to understand that developing games has become very expensive (and risky if you are making a new IP). Try to think about it: Insomniac is still making...
They should show us how games from third parties will differ from games they are making for ps3 and 360. IMHO it will be like PC versions of the games: higher resolution, better textures, increased framerate. But will these things be enough to warrant a buy?
It seems likely that third parties will wait for the new consoles from Sony and MS untill they will reinvest in new pipelines. But by this time the new Ninty console will be the weakest of them again! I have to admit that I would...
Yeah, the disagrees seem to be based on a good knowledge of CE3 /sarcasm
Guys I'm just trying to give you little insights in CE3 from my PoV. I don't even know if I am ALLOWED to talk that much about it (referring to my 2nd comment on LoT)!
It seems mindless speculation and flamewar is more appreciated.
My Comment on LoT:
” So the question remains, how do the supposedly inferior consoles harness the power to run Crysis 2? And the answer so far is impressive.”
Hi, I’m currently working with CE3 and one of the first things I’ve done was switching between the different config specs.
The console speccs are nowhere near the “Very High” settings of a PC.
Just activate “r_DisplayInfo” when you have switched the settings to xbox 360 or ps3. Use the m...
well I've played ME1&2 on my PC. Max settings on 1920x1200. And guess what: I'll buy it again for PS3.
"it is a noticable difference between cutscene and in-game, especially aliasing and character model wise."
http://kineticninja.blogspo...
yeah, you are telling the truth... (watch out! sarcasm!)
Of course they are using some tricks to make the cutscenes look better, but not by the amount you are trying to tell everyone.
@ Big_Dom:
sigh... just compare Uncharted 2 in-enginge cutscenes to actual gameplay.
When you have done that, you are allowed to talk about techniques used by Naughty Dog during cutscenes.
HHG is laughable, but guys talking about 240 *mhz* TVs are just as hilarious as HHG himself...
Right now I'm thinking about a parrot which is saying: "Hal, I miss you!"
Everyone who played MGS2 should know what I mean.
The music, the action on screen and the complicated relationship of the characters...
It has been too much for me at that time.
Couldn't fight the tears...
I hate those guys.
The PS3 version of Enslaved is a shame compared to the 360 version.
You are kidding aren't you?
The PS2 was a freaking nightmare...
If it wasn't for 360s total PC-like approach developers would embrace PS3s architecture (compared to PS2).
I haven't played a REAL Final Fantasy since the tenth iteration on PS2.
I don't know who told RPG makers that turn based combat is something of the past. I am missing the old combat system and which gamer likes the system used in XIII? One Button does it all? WTF?
Versus looks like a brilliant game and it's a worthy addition to the FF series but I won't say it is the REAL FF XIII. FF XIII was the real number XIII (and was crap in different areas imo). Versus is...
Well I'll reply to your LOL with a ROFL...
Maybe you should check Worldwide sales on a yearly basis and don't try telling us 360 is outselling PS3.

Don't ask such things on a platform like N4G!!! You don't want an answer to that question, any answer would spoil the game for you and anyone who wants to play the game!
I don't own a 360 and I'll never buy one but I won't spoil a game regardless the platform which it is released! Please dear PS3, Wii and 360 Fans be kind and don't spoil games!
It isn't a secret mission. I've skipped the credits and could play the mission.
@skv007: instead of ~Bungie you should have written "<3 Bungie", you know what I mean don't you ;)
HAHAHA...
It can't be considered as an extra level. Let's just say it's a nice extra 5 min playtime. Btw. you can skip the credits using the "Y"- button
Yeah I should be more precise with that statement. I meant the behaviour of the warthog when it is lying upside down and you are trying to flip it around. It doesn't feel heavy enough and just looks strange imo.
I've played it on Thursday at a friends 360 (obviously a hacked 360, Reach releases are all over the net before someone is trying to tell me that it isn't released yet).
Maybe it's nice for Halo fans that it still plays like Halo 1 but I have hoped for changes. I know you shouldn't fix something that isn't broken but I am missing some innovations.
I won't spoiler how the first 3 missions played (but don't hope for improved warthog physics ^^), I wil...
It looks like a PS3/360 game with a higher resolution (yes I consider 1080p higher than PS3/360). Would be interesting to know if it is running with 30 or 60 fps. Of course it isn't prerendered. People tend to forget how old PS3 & 360 are.
The graphics are matching my expectations but aren't impressive for a console launched in 2012.
I think we will see a lot more at gamescom or TGS.
