IF this is true:

Idea:
Online registration -> Account & ID
register the serial number of the Wii U tied to your account -> if Wii U is lost/stolen/broken (or sold if you want a new revision) register new Wii U serial
Old Wii U won't work online with your ID anymore
(new account needed in order to use it)

Wouldn't that work?

Without knowing the exact specs of Wii U, I don't think anyone of us can tell if it is easy to accomplish 1080p on a AAA game.

Even if the textures would be designed for a 720p resolution a native 1080p resolution would help a lot to minimize Aliasing.
And well, ME3 wasn't limited to 1280*720 on a PC.
I think the problem is either hardware-related or the devs porting it are having problems with Wii U.
The porting problems shouldn't be the reason imho

Wii was a bit better than Gamecube when it was released.
Wii U is going to be a bit better than PS3/Xbox 360.

It all depends on how much power Sony/MS will give their next consoles. And I don't think PS4 & Xbox "3" will be just equal to Wii U.

Things I loved about DmC:
The main character
His background story
The gothic themed world
The metal soundtrack
The fastpaced 60fps gameplay
Ebony&Ivory
over-the-top japanese feeling (hard to describe xD)

From what I've seen, heard and read about this reboot this game won't be for me!
Why do I hope it won't sell too good?
I want another oldschool DmC!
Maybe it'll be a good game ...

Yes, you are sooo right!
And you will be playing all the console exclusive games with higher resolution, additional effects and higher fps. IF these games would ever appear on PC!
I think some PC enthusiasts just don't get it:
We like playing these games! Yes we love it if these games look pretty! But do we care how they would look on a PC? No because they are not released on a PC!

I've thought about Riemann surfaces when I read Orbit (in holomorphic dynamical systems).
Most common representation of such a surface is the first added image. The second image shows the original PS logo.
THEY SHARE THE SAME COLOURS! It has to be true!!!

Btw: Where I am living PS3 was ~820$ when it launched. And games are about ~86$.
Yes I'd be willing to pay that much (again) if it is worth it (being worth it is highly subjective!).

@Shok:
Why does it sound weird? If Wii-U would be that much better than 360/PS3 it would make sense to "uprez" (ok this is a weird word xD). IMO he means that it will run 720p on every console.
I've been pesimistic about the Wii-U hardware but thought multiplatform games would run @1080p on it.
Optimistic would have been 1080p, 2x/4x MSAA, high res textures...
Maybe he is talking about early devkits as stated in the article.

Where I am living PS3 games cost 79$-90$ (60€ - 70€).
And no, 90$ isn't a collectors edition.

EDIT: That's why I agreed with frankiebeans ^^
I'd love to pay 70$ instead of 80$!
