lol all of us can afford it, but why should we have to pay for P2P action? I started out as a PC gamer and paying to play online (unless its an MMO) is blasphemy. Especially when they dont even give you dedicated servers, what the he!! are you guys paying for? seriously.
its not about the apartment, its not about the random socializing. I will give you it is a big part of it but its only one peice to the puzzle. HOME will have so many more features, game launching, trophies, developer corners and all the awesome sh!t that comes with that, ordering food, and so on and so forth.

I do remember the 3DO but I wouldnt discount another console so quickly. EA is in a different place now. If I had to guess there is a better chance of some kind of exclusivity deal between MS and EA. They may even joint venture in a console. Who really knows though, everything as it stands now is rumor and a pretty far out one at that.

Ok Resistance has nothing to do with GeoW2 so yeah. Gears2 is gonna be the sh*t but I really dont think you are aware that Resistance 1 was a LAUNCH title and one of the best to ever grace any console. So give respect where its due.
Gears 2 will be much better than the first. Resistance 2 will be much better than the first, end of story.
They look better because they are targets and not acutal in-game. PSU had ingame shots, they arent nearly as impressive.

those screens are from september 20th of last year or earlier, 9 months before its release. Keep your panties on, you ought not judge a games graphics 9 months before release.
HS's deal is that they ran out of time. Too much time in R&D and actual development of the engine and not enough time on story and content. Expect HS2 to be a lot longer than the first.
you also have to think about R2. I dont think we will be seeing two campaign modes on the 360 anytime soon...
