If you add together every xbox owner who ever bought a console there arent enough consoles sold to equal the userbase of the Gran Turismo franchise.
Halo doesnt hold a candle to this franchise and it never will and not because it isnt a good game but it doesnt have the legs of a racing simulator.

hardcore? The average consumer doesnt have Terabytes laying around and they WONT. The largest growing population in the US is baby boomers and many of them dont have a fricking clue of what a terabyte is and MOST of them wont consider a non-physical format.

1.) quality- 1080p movies with uncompressed sound
2.) accessibility- able to download 1080p movies with uncompressed sound in less than 10 minutes, having 10TB memory sticks, and able to download from anyplace that has an internet connection)
3.) Mobility- I can take my movies anyplace and watch them at any time.

there you go... rub about 100,000 off of the 360 total and add about 80,000 on the ps3 total and you have a pretty good idea where this stands.

IMO- if there is no co-op this multiplayer fails. I dont care to run around in a bunch of "mini-game" multiplayer maps and kill others. I want to roam the ENTIRE city with friends. I could care less about other features when it comes to the MP for GTA.
