its a bigger risk by the fact that they are going out on a limb the BDA didnt have to: introducing a new way to receive your movies. MS is years early and if they dont incorporate a BD in their next xbox they will be in trouble
I forgot about this game, is it a PS3 exclusive?
well thanks for you respectful post +bubbles for that.
As for the quality difference, that depends on the size of the screen, the viewing distance and the type of speakers you use.
If you sit 12 feet from a 27" 720p tv then no there isnt much of a difference.
I have a 61" and I sit about 9 feet from it, you can tell the difference visually. I still have to upgrade my receiver so I guess i cant really speak of audio quality, but I can t...
yeah! what DOSE this mean?
What does that headline mean? how did this get approved?
"Better stop watching tv too, cuz that isn't 1080p."
better stop watching TV because it isnt 1080p? why? Its not like one service offers 1080p tv and one doesnt. If I am going to watch a movie why not watch it in 1080p instead of downloading a 720p movie that has less than good audio? TV you dont have an option, with movies you do.
"Oh know microsoft is the worst company ever, they have you brainwashed blah blah blah."
This has n...
some of you people are retarded. Who wants a compressed to sh*t HD experience? I didnt spend upwards of 4,000 dollars to watch compressed movies off of xbox live.
All of you people on here that are defending these download times are people with a 360. what are you doing? trying to justify your purchase? Sorry folks, but your downloads will NEVER be the quality of blu-ray. ever. Its sad really, its a DECENT alternative IF you dont have a bluray movie but dont come in here ...
which is the point. GTA=playstation
well lets face it, two campaigns, tons of online features... this is stuff you just dont see on the 360.
I am not picking on you but where are these $30 discs? the only place i see them is at BB. Amazon regularly has new releases for 18-24 bucks. Walmart new release are 24 bucks, why is anyone spending 30 dollars on a BD?
which is why, with new technology you either wait for something with upgradable firmware or you bite the bullet and have to buy one down the road.
Static firmware should never have been put in the BD player anyway, all firmware in every piece of equipment should be upgradable.
late 2009 or early 2010?
How long have i been predicting the new xbox would come out in that time frame? looks like i am not buying a 360 after all.
Anyway, if they are going to go with DD they better come out with an HDD of 1tb or more or I wont buy it. I dont know if it will work anyplace outside of the US anyway. They definitely risk outrunning the current technology and limiting their userbase because of it.

give me a break. speaking from someone who owns a 60" or above, downloaded movies are about on par with upscaled dvd's.
it happens now, all the time. Go to amazon.com, I am Legend is 18 bucks
oh really? that is good news
i agree there needs to be damage and I agree that there will be damage in the final version.
its this year.
when are they supposed to go down?
well i didnt have any problems with any other game which led me to believe it was this game.
"youre putting pus*y on a pedestal"
lets face it guys, if they dont start looking at their business model and understand that IF they dont include a physical format such as bluray in the next xbox all they will be doing is limiting their userbase again; that is something ms cannot afford.
The reason why it wont be in the 360 is because, I believe, the 360 is nearing the end of its lifecycle.
