Well, if it was going to effect the game so much so that we wouldnt be getting the killzone2 that exists today I guess co-op needed to be sacrificed. It really is that simple. Would you rather have 3 modes (online MP, SP, and offline bots) or have 4 modes but each one of them tuned down a couple of notches?
Personally, I am on the side of quality in this case. The Sp will be 8-10 hours long (of complete awesomeness). The MP will be HUGE with a mixture of elements of COD4,...
No patch. There will be no co-op. I am glad they focused on what they did in order to create the best experience possible. Co-op may be in KZ3 but I am glad they made the sp and mp the best they could.
For me, not a big deal. I dont play a whole lot of co-op anyway.
I absolutely love the fact you can change classes mid-stream through a game. awesome addition.
I really dont see MS's tech lasting that long. They didnt build the 360 to last really long. They built it to get out of the gate first.
With all this being said, I hope it does last quite a while so I have both "major" systems for a few years to come.
Where is the 360's Killzone 2 then? They dont have one. KZ2 is almost a generational leap above 95% of the games on the 360. Gears 1 and 2 are the best graphics the console has and they DONT hold a candle to KZ2.

The first game this generation that is literally dropping my jaw. The PS3 is a beast..... most of us knew it all along... we just needed some proof.
With a price drop this year and games like uncharted and KZ2 coming out the ps3 is going to fully legitimize itself as the console to have for '09

There is NO WAY it takes Crysis technically. I am sorry, it just doesnt. However, artistically? It takes it by a mile. I cant comment on the gameplay as I havent played either game.

I have no problems either, especially when its an open world game... Its really the only way to do it.

This game is going to be played on hard right out of the gate. I am sure insane will be the next one. I played uncharted on hard my first time through and it took me 13 hours.
I am guessing this game will take about the same amount of time. I am fine with that.
