one game doesnt need to save the ps3. Sony needs to drop the price and that will be all the saving it needs.

I hear the tournament system in this game kicks serious butt. The cool thing is that anyone can set up tournaments and betting "valor" points should make things very interesting.
I think with the cell and bluray as well established in the industry the PS4 will be able to come in at a much lower price point and yet take the same generational leap that the ps3 did.
Not only that but the developers will already have a handle on the programming. Look for a 399 price point for the ps4 with a cell (two ppu's and around 16 spu's). look for 4 gigs of ram and the next nvidia card.

Well, I dont really care what Sony PR has to say. However, let the games of both systems speak FOR the system. Nothing on any console to date looks remotely as good as KZ2. Until the 360 produces a game that looks similar I am inclined to say that it CANT be produced on the 360.
That being said, graphics arent everything.

I spent more time in fallout than any game this year. Its an awesome RPG and deserves a GOTY award. Of course there was always MGS, Fable 2, and LBP to consider. However, my runner up is MGS. The cutscene in act 3 was the OMG of the year. The game was brilliant for what it did, absolutely brilliant. Fallout 3 had the depth the fun and the atmosphere to pull it off though. In any case Fallout 3 was an excellent game.
check out most of their other reviews.... they gave gears a 9.7 so they obviously dont hate it. For the most part I would say their reviews are spot on.
Its an OK year for the Playstation brand. Not its best, thats for sure. PS3 needs a price drop in the spring. By 2010 it needs to be 100 bucks cheaper than it is right now. It would creamed the 360 had there been a price drop, but there wasnt.
I know i picked a 360 up this fall. Too good of a deal to pass up. Sony needs to step up and make the console more affordable to the masses and more importantly... the parents.
If anything this shows how badly the ps3 needs a price drop. Sony fanboys can no longer deny this fact.

Tell you the truth if you dont like online gaming then the FPS genre probably isnt for you. Even with Co-op and 3 play throughs you will still only get 30 hours out of a game. You may as well stick to RPG's for the singleplayer experience.
The money is well spent in the MP but a FPS would ALWAYS be a rent for me if I wasnt into online play.
I think you are seriously blowing this lack of co-op outta proportion. Then you add in Gears and Halo... oh... wait.... I get it.

I really dont get all the disagrees. GG's did borrow some from here and there and the best parts too. They paid attention, they watched carefully and they made a great game in the mean time.

Its not really confusing if you consider that we havent any official word of what the OPM UK scans have to say. I cant even find where they say 45 minutes of load times. It doesnt make sense so I am not going to believe it until i hear or read it for myself.
