PSP is on a roll baby! Patapon and GOW are day one buys for me. Lasting appeal got a 7.5?? I really hope there are different difficulty settings. I will play this one more than once. Plus 7 hrs is long enough for a handheld.
Silent Hill took me 5hrs 47 minutes to finish and that was long enough.
BD winning this format war was HUGE for the PS brand. Say what you will about a gaming machine is "just" a gaming machine but every PS3 bought comes with both the new standard HD format and one hell of a gaming machine. Even if people buy the PS3 for movies they are still potential customers of the gaming community.

expect a major sales spike in the next week or two when toshiba announces the discontinuation of HDDVD. I expect the sales to be on par with a MAJOR exclusive game. This will be huge as there are still many people out there waiting for an end to this format war and when they decide to buy a bluray player the ps3 will be a very very good option.
lol @ wageslave. You are as right about DD as you were about HD-DVD. Are you seriously trying to go 0-2? Anyone knows that the compressed to sh*t 720p movies you enjoy in the one spot you can (aka wherever your HDD is) will never beat an uncompressed (both audio and visual) 1080p movie that you can carry with you and watch anywhere.
When #1. you can download a movie that is uncompressed 1080p in under 5 hours and #2 access it anywhere so you can watch it wherever you please ...

the problem with MS is they OUTSOURCE everything. Games, hardware you name it. Their lack of devotion to gaming will be their ultimate fall. You either jump head first and make smart business decisions on the way or you get creamed. Its that simple.

Where were you for the last 2 generations of consoles? Sony's PS brand has always started out slow and gained momentum. the ps3 is doing EXACTLY the same thing as the ps2 did. The same arguments are here for why the ps3 will fail like they were when the ps2 was new.

I am in love with patapon, the best demo in years. I didnt get the GOW demo so i just have to wait for the game. Seriously though, patapon, beats, and GOW are enough reasons to invest in a psp.
