The pc version of the demo looked great for what is was, an old unreal engine game, certainly looks better than anything on console. Honestly, thats not saying much, most pc games from 2007 and up look a generation ahead of unchated 3 or killzone 3.
But games like the witcher 2, bf3, metro2033, x3, hard reset, crysis 1,2, warhead, ect make me3 look last gen.
I'll grab the pc version, in a few months when it's $25
I want it, and am just now playing through ME2 on pc to get back into the story, with Skyrim and Kingdoms of Amalar still on my hard drive waiting to be beat, there is no rush, plus I am replaying demons souls with my wife on ps3, so, I'm gonna wait ME3 out a bit, my instinct is to just rush out and buy it buy, heck, why not save a little cash!
the closer they make both consoles to pc-type architecture the better.
all video games, even ps3 exclusives and xbox exclusives and wii exclusives and ios exclusives and vita exclusives are made on PC, so it stands to reason that the best possible traslation of a port from pc to console (which every game you have ever played is) will be the better for trasitioning to an architecture like the platform it was made on, the PC!

pc gaming makes up over 50% of all game related revenue when you factor in things like wow subscription and in game shop, league of legends, free to plays, STEAM with 40 million users, amazon digital, direct2drive, greenmangaming, gamers gate, facebook games, flash games, maple story, good old games, ect....
the revenue stream on pc with over 58 MILLION desktop pc's sold just in 2011...

lol....not even close, the native resolution on ps3 portal 2 is 1280x720, it may UPSCALE to 1080p, but you can UPSCALE a dvd to 1080p with a $30 Upscale DVD player, that doesn't mena it looks anywhere near bluray quality.
console games are usually sub- hd or less than 720p native, just because the box says 1080p, thats just what is can scale to

if the engine is so outdated why can't it be 1080p at 60 frames on console?
HL2 on console is sub-hd and runs at 20-30 frames and still has jaggies
so the current consoles cannot even handle the source engine from HL2, let alone how beast it looks on pc with portal 2
portal 2 on pc makes uncharted 3 look last gen, play it on someones gaming pc in 1080p 16x af and 16x aa at 60 frames with everything cranked, there is nothing on ps3/3...
They thought Skyrim was going to be on next gen consoles, but since MS and Sony are dragging this gen on forever they finally released it anyway....how'd that work out on console again??
ohhh yeah.....the game is covered in jaggies, pop-in and runs at 10-20 frames per second even at the low resolution they are using.
On PC Skyrim is perfect and has been for me since day one, 1080p, 60 frames, zero jaggies, 200 hours in, never a broken quest. So why is...
the install base of xbox 360 is around 45-50 million (remove all the broken and rrod units)
the install base of gaming capable pcs (not nessasarily uber but with modern os, 2-8 gb ram and a descrete gpu) is well over 300 million
not really a brain teaser if you want to make a bit of extra cash.
I'd buy Halo 3 for pc in a second, the jaggies are so bad in all halo games, and the resolution so low, halo 2 on pc looks better than halo ...
Halo 4 on the Nextbox in 1080p, 4-8x AA and 60 frames and keep the rest just like the previous Halo games!

this isn't an apology or anything really, this confession has meant nothing.
unless they release it on next gen consoles and it's 1080p, 60 frames with 4-8x anti aliasing, I wont even consider renting it on console, when i can play it on pc with above specs
we needed new consoles a year ago!
cause the console version has zero chance of looking amazing, it's 8 year old hardware, we saw long, long ago the max these things could do. (uncharted 2 is the peak for ps3 {part 3 was a downgrade visually}, gears 1/2 for 360)
pc does amazing things everyday, just check out recent mod pages to see, the envelope of possibilities is constantly being pushed in pc gaming.
not that i think me3 will be a benchmark of anykind on pc, but it will certainly blow anyth...
the pc versions of most multiplats look that much better man, you got to get a gaming pc if you want graphics like that, compared to the withcer 2 maxed out, those character models don't even look that great.

Nearly everyone who bought a wii will buy a wii u, and many who never did will as well.
The Wii U will outsell the ps4 and 360 combined, and more if ms and sony do not get their consoles out very, very soon.
personally i'm not buying any next gen consoles at launch, i mad ethat mistake last gen and bought every single one, now they sit collecting dust and i game 99% on pc.
I'll wait till ps4/nextbox/wii u are all under $300 and come wit...
Personally, I am liking this game better than skyrim, only about 15 hours in so we'll hold off final judgement for a while.
It feels like a 9/10 to me though so far.
I think it's because it is so much different than every rpg I have played, where skyrim, though a very, very good game, after over 250 hours in oblivion with some of the add-ons and mods, skyrim feels way too familiar.
