theres way too much free dlc (read mods) for skyrim for me to EVER consider paying for some
until they make a full blown retail expansion for $29.99 or less with a whole new geographical area, brand new mobs, new weapons and armor and new skill perks they can suck off!

it started in 2007 with Crysis 1 on pc, its just that no consoles were there.
the next gen after that started in 2010 and no consoles were there either
a whole new gen is starting now with the gtx680 and guess what, no consoles still.....
when next gen consoles do launch, they will be a full gen or two behind pc gaming

well, they certainly will NOT support 1200p, 1440p, 1600p, multi tv display, 16x,32x,64x...
im in the path of exile beta and it has nothing, NOTHING on Diablo 2, the pacing is off, the mobs are lame, it feels directionless and gets old very, very fast.
it does have great graphics, but other than that, its a stinker.
Diablo 3 will be pure epicness, blizzard are masters of proverbial carrot dangling.

if the following were to happen, then yes, 100% i would buy a console that did not play used games;
1. Games were $10-$40 new, never more
2. Games were all native 1080p, 60 frames, 4x anti aliasing minimum.
3. The console came with a 3 year warranty against all defects in workmanship

its already taken too long, we should have had ps4 and 720/nextbox in 2011, consoles are now two full generations behind pc now, i dont even turn them on anymore, Dark Souls, uncharted 3 and Gears 3 were the only games i played on my consoles in 2011, starting to wonder why i dont just sell them.

best part....if you own the original disc, they are free, pop it in the dvd tray of your pc, install pcsx2, and play!
they may have rushed the console port, i truthfully dont know, but the pc version was certainly NOT rushed, its a labor of love for DICE, the game is beautiful, runs sexy at 60 frames, has awesome dedicated servers, HUGE 32v32, 40v40, 52v52 and 64v64 monster games, also, on pc at least, battlelog is freaking sweet.
