the graphics in recent remakes like splinter cell, silent hill, tomb raider, resident evil code veronica all look WAY better on pc, sorry man, you are wrong....trust me, i emulate ps2 games all day long, they kill the ps3 remakes, plus they run at 60 frames and have no jaggies, also, they are free, you just pop the ps2 game in your drive and launch PCSX2.
not to mention, you can emulate 99% of all ps2 games, you do not have to wait until they decide to give you one for $40, you...
more like games like metro2033 dx11, arma 2, stalker cop dx11, crysis warhead dx10, bf3 dx11, the witcher 2 uber,
if next gen consoles even get close to those games in 1080p it will be a miricle, i wouldnt count on it though, pc is too far out ahead for them to catch up now.

I think the Wii U should provide an option of having nothing on the controller or just ammo/map/journal type apps, so the games can be native 1080p
if not, then this thing will not be much better than the low-res ps3/360 that we've had around for going on 7 years.

one thing is for sure, Wii U is gonna destroy ps3 and 360 graphics, it wont be anything near as good as a 3-4 year old gaming rig (gtx 285, 295, 470, 480 all crush anything that will be in next gen consoles, lets not even think in terms of gtx580's or the new sext 680), but then again, neither will the ps4 or nextbox.
