Wow I just compared GTA V sales on PS4 and XBO and apparently the PS4 version is globally sitting at 5,959,489 copies vs 2,381,107 copies for the XBO. More than the double.
I wonder how Rockstar/T2 should react to that...

Exactly that's what people don't understand. They think ps3 only started to surge a few years ago but it was beating the Xbox 360 since it's launch. It just took time. And the Xbox 360 selling more in the US (which was the biggest market) means that multiplats sold more on 360, hence the software sales disparity.
Exactly, that's a very bad strategy for Microsoft. Phones aren't even sold like that anymore. China is huge. It's better to make the product available everywhere. But I suppose that the deal includes some kind of promotion of the XBO by China Telecom.
1% of China's population is already more than 13,500,000 people. And you clearly know nothing about China. Chinese people are only getting richer and their purchasing power is higher than ever. They might not all be able to afford a PS4 but they are definitely more than 1%.
