I hate when developers stop doing what they like just because they get attracted by money. We all know MP games bring in much more money than SP. As a company money is all they care about.

It doesn't need to. Back when DS and PS2 existed, there was no such thing as PS+. Subscription services are extremely profitable and bring in billions every years. The PS4 can sell less than the DS while outearning it. A manufacturer doesn't care about how many systems it sells, they care about profit. And consoles hardware are the least profitable piece of the whole ecosystem.
Besides the DS had sold 900 million games by 2012 (8 years after release) while the PS4 already sol...

The Vita was one of the best built and best looking console ever. The build quality was better than high end smartphones of the time (2011-2012) apart from Apple. The switch can definitely not match that. But maybe if Sony has used a cheaper construction, they could've sold the Vita at a lower price.
Even if it's not bad, it doesn't mean it's good. This generation has been terrible for Xbox. You'd think they would try to make the most logical and best decisions to ensure their success for the next generation. Then they come up with a name like that and instead of cuting all ties with the flop Xbox One, they associate the new console with it...
Just my 2 cents but I think their strategy with Xbox is going to be similar to Windows.
Remember how they call Windows 10 the last version of Window ever because they're just gonna perpetually update it?
They could do the same thing with Xbox. No version number, just Series X, which would be the most powerful, and Series S which would be entry level. And every 5 years or so, there would be a new model.
