The whole point of a marketing strategy is to build up enough interest for the game till the day it releases. The bulk of sales will happen during the first weeks. Denuvo is actually effective in stopping piracy for the first weeks of a game's release. That's all they want, they know they can't stop the game from getting cracked.
Sony is the leader. When you're an outsider you have to do everything to prove that your product is better. As a leader you don't have that pressure. Xbox is not even the second company on that market. That's Nintendo.
Can this be played solo?
I hate when developers stop doing what they like just because they get attracted by money. We all know MP games bring in much more money than SP. As a company money is all they care about.
And I'm finished with Rockstar then.
Definitely over valued. Damn you speculation
Sony needs to ramp up the marketing effort or Dreams might flop...
I know it's a niche game but let's not waste 6+ years of hard work from Media Molecule. It can do good!

This man I swear...
I tried the alpha. It's good. It's empty for the moment but the gamplay feels better than most recent space games I've tried (I quit Rebel Galaxy Outlaw because of its horrible gameplay). Even tho the engine is the same as the first game, the graphics are very good for an independant studio. Really looking forward for the game, planetary landing and full campaign sounds exciting.
