I usually rent these games from gamefly but I think this time around it's a day one purchase.

No I actually meant the console version of the Dying Light game, I was purely going by the xb1 version, not sure what the ps4 version looks like but assuming it's just as good if not better in areas.
I have to disagree. Those above screen shots look nice, not 'mind blowing' - to be honest, for the first time in a long time, Dying Light had me stopping and actually taking in the environment, especially when you are outside with all of the vibrant colors, the particle effects, the sun flares, just everything it's totally mesmerizing.

you go around a map hacking and slashing characters, similar to any other hack and slash game but in a darker setting.
I do not have a PS4, and if this was coming out for the XB1 I would feel the same way. Must not be my type of game I guess because it genuinely does not look enticing/innovative/mind blowing etc it looks like a normal run of the mill swing my hammer/sword/whatever weapon and carve some critter up game that has nice looking graphics.

just wait and see - uncharted will probably be off the hook but everything else including the order will be hard pressed to get an 8 - all graphics and not much substance.
It is simply something else for you to focus on instead of their upcoming games that are going to score maybe a total of 8 out of 10 - watch and see
xbox live in general has always had these features, show offline, show online, turn notifications off or on etc the only one they didnt have until recently was the selective friends online notification - but then again xbox one is backwards compared to my 360 - notifications of people logging on is so much freaking slower it drives me nuts.
oh no its fine i wanted them as soon as they were available and play the campaign sporadically so would take me a while to unlock :)
oh because i had to pay for individual bruce lee fighters a few months ago so figured this would cost money also.
