That comparison is redundant, does SONY and Microsoft base their entire line-up on HD remakes? no, its just another choice. Besides you can pretty much count on your fingers how many HD remake games there have been in comparison to the near thousands of new games on both systems.
Nintendo are lazy, they literally haven't come up with a new franchise since pikmin and they base their whole platform on milking mario and zelda. This is not an opinion, it is undeniable.

Ehm, SSFIV no matter how you feel about it, has single handedly resurrected the fighting game genre after it was pretty much DEAD for the last decade and it is the sole reason that MK9 even exists. SF4 along with MadCats and the new streaming community opened the door to what was once a very closed scene in the past and have now made it "ok" for other game developers to once again not be afraid to put a fighting game out in a hurr durr CODbro generation.

The sales of this game have a lot to do with the fact that it has been reduced to bargain bin price literally within a month or so of its release.
People dont usually give a shit about how worthwhile a game is when it only costs 10-20 bucks.

The only thing wrong with this game is the awful netcode, lack of controller mapping on the pause screen and no record function in practice mode.
