That's a pretty narrow minded way of thinking. They are two very different games in two very different genera. That would be like me saying, stop recommending GTA to people and instead point people to the vastly superior Grand Turismo. I get it, some of you people have ADD and don't care that the car physics are absolutely terribly. Sounds like a mediocre game to me.
To look down your nose at people that enjoy The Order makes you appear to be small minded.
I couldn't agree more. Everyone that I know that has played it really liked it. To hell with the loud mouthed idiotic anti Sony haters that scream negative things about it. They don't have intellect enough to hold a rational conversation anyway.
Dragon,
I meant to agree, but accidentally hit disagree. Just wanted to let you know that one of those disagrees should be an agree. I hate the practice of parity. It should be eliminated.
What you're saying here does make sense. For example, I haven't really played Call of Duty.... Just not my style of FPS. I prefer Killzone, or Battlefield. Anyway, my Nephew insisted that I borrow his Call of Duty Ghost. I played through the campaign, and had a good time with it. Like a Michael Bay film... Just shut your brain down and look at the action. Then I tried multiplayer. I wouldn't say I suck. I usually run in the top 25% in Killzone, and Battlefield, but in CoD, I never...
Do a bit of research.
The other PS4 game is Nino No Kuni (spelling), which I've been planning on buying. It's about an Inuit child and her wolf dealing with ancestral spirits while trying to get home.
Thanks to everyone for the comments. I'm still not sure. I'm not some CoD twitch guy, but I'm still not sure. I am 40 with a job, Wife, child, family, and friends, so I don't get a lot of time to play. That said, I loved the new Alien, I've beaten the Mass Effect entire series with all DLC 4 times, and have blown through many games that people say are too hard.
I'm come from the era of, you die, you start from the beginning, so spaced check points don...
I am one of those that has never played a Souls game. I'm trying to figure out if I want to buy Blood Born, or not. From what I've watched, it reminds me of Nightmare Creatures a bit, which I liked. On the other hand, it does grind my gears when games use endless monster closets. I was interested in what this article had to say, and now that I've read it, I'm still not sure. On a different note, I couldn't help but think that maybe I should be writing these articles, as th...
PC gaming is "hip"?... Sadly PC gamers still have the, nerd with tape on his glasses, living in his Mom's basement stigma. Don't believe me?... Poll some people in the real world, and find out. I know that's what my Wife and all of her friends think. They were shocked that a guy like me would game on a PC.
Can we down bubble an article for trolling? Lol. It's techradar.com that posted it, so it's a joke anyway. They wouldn't know a logical thought if it slapped them in the face.
Well said bubble +. If Nintendo put out a phone that worked as well as the best smart phone, but gave you access to Nintendo's entire catalog, they would take the world by storm. Who could stop them?
Holy hell... I was just screwing around with you and you went full tilt rant, veiled insults included. I have thought that Kojima (If I use Swype to spell Kojima it spells Higgins. Lol) was leaving as soon as I heard that Metal Gear was going open world. Something felt way off about that...
To be honest, the only reason that I worry that Kojima is leaving is for the fate of Silent Hills. Even though I am a big Metal Gear fan (I have all of them except Portable Ops) I am much ...
Is this a step towards Nintendo moving out of the console market? If I were CEO I think I would move that way. I would create a new hand held, then port older games to mobile. Nintendo would make money hand over fist, especially if they made it so the new hand held could network to your TV.
Well said +.
I have a feeling you're not being honest. Either that, or you live under a rock. Why would you not have Shadow Fall, Drive Club, The Order, Transistor, Valiant Hearts, New N Tasty, Infamous, etc, etc?...
I'm trying to avoid being insulting, but I have a feeling that you are not as you portray yourself to be.
Lol. Buy a PS4 ya cheap bastards.
April 1st? Is there anything else associated with that date?
Light,
Did you miss the plethora of articles, and advertisements talking about how difficult this game was going to be? They've been using that as one of their biggest selling points for months. They said over and over, harder than Souls. How could you not have known how tough it was going to be?
Make sure the disc says The Last of Us on it. Maybe you got the wrong disc in the case.
Kids these days...
Hello, Septic,
I am actually replying about your previous text where you stated that YouTube didn't work in the browser on the PS4. I can tell you that it did here in the US. I was running YouTube from the browser with no problems at all right after launch.
I just wanted to set the record straight.
