As I was reading your comment I thought, I like what this guy is saying... The idea of not being in the Milky way would mean that there is no connection to what we know as Mass Effect. It's been "fixed" for quiet some time now. It's fantastic. Beautiful, frantic, and fun. It is worth well more than the price of admission.

That said, I have to say I'm kinda with the writer on this. The science don't make sense within Mass Effect. I would like to see a future well after ME3, around the time of the star gazer.
People have said, that wouldn't work, because even though the choices at the end of 3 were lack luster, you did get to make a choice. This could be solved with indoctrination theory. You could write your way out of it.
I could not agree with you more. I would rather they focus on making a great Battlefront game than make a completely new IP called Battlefront where they are spending dev time and tons of cash working on mo cap performances, voice talent, cinematics, and whatever else while trying to hold true to Star Wars lore and cannon.

Have you guys not played the original Battlefront?... This is like a reboot of the first game. The single player was exactly as this one is going to be. There was no real story to speak of and it was great. I think a lot of people that are complaining have not played the original, and are expecting a game that is nothing like Battlefront.
What if Sony announces a timed exclusive deal for Battlefront at E3? It would make sense. EA would be showing Sony fans some love after the Tomb Raider announcement.

I don't understand how people don't understand that this is a reboot of the first game. I still have both Battlefront games, and I can tell ya, this new game seems to be on target perfectly well to hit the same notes as the original. Dice, like the originals creators, are nailing down the planetary combat first... I'm sure the inevitable Battlefield 2 will have space battles, and will have content from the new movies.
