I'm not going to post in any Killzone 2 thread because there are too many crazy, irrational people in there.
... Anyway. The E3 trailer really does not look as good as the 2005 teaser trailer, which Sony said was (or would be) the real thing. People should be a little disappointed by the E3 2007 trailer. Sony made a serious mistake by showing the 2005 teaser and then leading people into believing that it's from the actual gameplay.

No one has mentioned this before:
Halo 3's biggest weakness is the character motions. Visually it's beautiful, but the character movements are stiff and unnatural. They also lack facial expression and body language. Characters in Halo 3 don't move and express like real people.
Bioware has said many times that MASS EFFECT has no pre-rendered cutscene. Everything you see in the trailers and demos is either gameplay or scripted and performed with real-time engine.

Why isn't anyone talking about Killzone 2?
Microsoft did not talk much at this conference. Nothing about the huge warranty plan. No portable device. No price cut. No Bioshock. No Too Human. No Alan Wake. No Peter Jackson.
They just showed us the games we knew about.
Oh well, we'd just have to wait for Microsoft's own X06 event -- which is coming up in about a month.
Don't forget Xbox 360 is not a movie player. It is first and foremost a gaming console.
I didn't get Xbox 360 (or *any* video game console) to watch movies -- I have dedicated devices for that purpose. Microsoft shouldn't spend too much time and money on features that don't matter to gamers.
What if I don't want a HD-DVD or Blu-ray? I don't want one, and I don't need one. I have the option of NOT getting one with Xbox 360. With PS3, I don't have that option.
