Sony announced exclusivity deals with NC Soft and for Heavy Rain and UT3. Hm.
So it's only wrong when Sony's opponent does it.
This Moore guy has more class and style than all Sony execs combined.
What is important is not the $100 price cut, $100 less or how much great value the customer can get out of a $500 console.
What is important is the PRICE OF ENTRY.
What matters here is that the price of entry for a PS3 is $500.
Unfortunately, the arrogance returned as soon as the conference was over.
atop of that, he has a put option on his Microsoft stocks, (i.e., he bets in the stock market for Microsoft share prices to fall)... apparently he wants Microsoft stock prices to fall further.
the guy will be going to prison soon.
Metal Gear Solid (MGS)
Final Fantasy (FF)
Devil May Cry (DMC)
So now DMC sucks because it's coming to Xbox?
So far PS3 fanboys and Sony Protection Groupies have stayed out of all recent Mass Effect news.
For example, in the Mass Effect E3 trailer article yesterday, there's not a single one Sony fanboys in there. I was waiting for a Sony fanboy to show up and to see what he would say. But none has ever showed up, which is just like... wow, a miracle. Because those Sony fanboys love to crap in Xbox 360 threads at every chance they have.
I think they first wanted to sa...
"Everything looks *fantastic*."
"All those trailers you've seen are actually of in-game footage."
"When you zoom close in on alien characters, they look just as good as any of the Unreal Engine demos... if not better."
"Traveling from planet to planet... looks as good as any special effects on say, the show Battlestar Galactica."
"Dialogue... actually seem like an interactive cutscene.&quo...
Microsoft's keynote showed only 2007 game lineup but no Bioshock or Air Combat 6! Both games are Xbox 360 exclusives, will be out this year, and have impressive graphics and gameplay.
Instead, Microsoft showed Assassin's Creed, a NON-exclusive.
What's THAT about???
Ben: Sony had a good show and a new, more *humble* attitude.
Frank: Yeah, it's almost surprising to see Sony's completely different attitude.
You can invite the ladies who are clueless about video games back to your home to play the Wii. Wii should make some karma sutra games to help turn the ladies on! ;)
But when it comes to true gaming... well, that really isn't Wii's strong point.
The map editor feature alone will make Halo 3 better than Killzone 2 again.
This is just the secret weapon Halo 3 needs to defeat Killzone 2.
So has Sony. So has any major corporation in America.
It's the fact of life for businesses in America: one gets sued sooner or later, and often. The bigger and more successful a business is, the more lawsuits it will face. That's why the first rule of going into business is to get a good lawyer and good insurance against lawsuits.
but remember, Sony pretty much won last year's E3 as well... and then failed to deliver later on.
I want it back!
Microsoft is in the last place.
Microsoft got pwned at E3.
Hopefully Microsoft was just holding back for its own X06 conference that's coming up in about a month.
that'd be REALLY, REALLY bad.
but I think that's not gonna happen. So Bioware is at E3 for only Mass Effect, and there won't be any surprise from Bioware.
When the gameplay segments of Killzone 2 look better than some of the cutscenes in Halo 3, then we have a problem.
While Halo has never had the most cutting-edge graphics, it has never been so far behind another FPS either. Halo does not have to be the best in graphics, but it should not be so far behind another FPS either.
The situation has really changed since E3.
Look, can you say you're not embarrassed to have to compare Halo 3 to Killzone 2 at the moment?
I'm sure all the PS3 fanboys and Sony Protection Groupies are gonna gloat about Killzone 2 and piss on Halo 3 after E3. But guess what? They have every right to gloat. Bungie has let us down.
than all the intolerably arrogant Sony execs combined, I have to say. Every time some Sony exec opens his mouth, he makes me want to stay away from anything Sony makes.
