Remember Windows?
It's also about common sense.
Casual gamers simply outnumber hardcore gamers many, many times.
Sure, you have maybe about 8-10 million really hardcore gamers in America.
But there are about AT LEAST five times more casual gamers. That's about 50 millions. Their sheer number overwhelms hardcore gamers.
Even if each casual gamers do not play as much games as hardcore gamers do, their number does add up.

That's why he had to contradict himself.
My guess is that his Xbox 360 has probably broken down... multiple times.
It's like one of the Kotaku's editors whose Xbox 360 has broken down 7 or 8 times already, and his position has changed from a 360 supporter to a 360 hater who bashes Microsoft in just about all his articles. Of course he's going to be angry. Of course that's gonna hurt Microsoft.
(He's Brian Crecente, BTW. I had noticed that he's particularly anti-Microsoft and anti-Xbox, and his art...
MSNBC's morning show. Notice that it's MS... NBC. Yes, Microsoft has 18% stake in the company.
Along with Good Morning America, it is one of the two most popular morning shows in America. Usually, the Today Show is the number-one in rating, followed by Good Morning America.
So yes, this is going to hurt Microsoft.
Not another one. N4G is having a meltdown. It's being filled with junks.
They may end up working for Microsoft or Nintendo someday.
ALL personal fan-made or homemade videos should NOT be approved. PERIOD.
Dr Pepper, you keep on approving and posting all sorts of ridiculous submissions for personal agenda and amusement. Whoever you are, your account needs to be revoked and IP banned, because I know somehow you got the admin password and logged in as admin to get your own stuff approved.
How did this even get approved?!? Stop posting your personal fan-made or homemade video. They are NOT newsworthy. You guys are exploiting and abusing N4G.
You don't seriously think any console could possibly beat the latest PCs in graphic and performance capability, do you?
A lot of PC games that are ported from console have additional contents. Jade Empire, GTA series, Metal Gear Solid Substance and many other PC ports have additional contents that the console versions do not.
And PC ports usually have (and should have) better graphic than the console versions. Even Final Fantasy 7 PC has better graphics than the PS version.
It's only Microsoft's 1st-party games (like Halo) that have inferior PC versions because Microsoft is tryi...
"Please, please, take pity on Sony, have a heart and buy a PS3! Follow your heart!"
but somehow people have missed it:

Fallout 1 and 2 are turn-based.
Fallout 3 will NOT be turn-based.

You can go over to VGChartz and look at the history. Generate and look at the chart of Xbox 360 and PS3 sales. Align Xbox 360 and PS3 sales by launch dates, and you'll see that they have sold about the same numbers of units at each time frame, with Xbox 360 having a little bit of advantage at each time period since launch.
Please report the article as WRONG CHANNEL/TYPE. Read the story CAREFULLY. It's basically a hearsay, a rumor.
A guy talked to some store manager who told him a speculation, but then the guy wrote the article with clever, deceptive wording o fool people. Even I got fooled at first until someone pointed it out to me. I was deceived by this story.
So it's just a rumor. It is NOT a news, but it's reported as such. This story is WRONG CHANNEL/TYPE.
Ha! It's basically a hearsay. Missed that the first time I read the article!
Report!
I've just watched the clip of the Today Show. That is NOT what the show said AT ALL. The show did NOT tell people to stay away or not buy an Xbox 360. That means this article is WRONG and has misquoted (or more like blatantly made up) what the show had said.
Here's the clip -- you have to use Internet Explorer to be able to watch it: http://v...
