Guerilla is so good at supporting their game. This patch sounds pretty good but I will have to get the rest of my air support ribbons before it hits! haha
This game makes me feel the same way I did when MGS4 was coming out. I honestly don't need to see a single review because I am completely confident that this game will OWN. Hopefully I will have time to play it with all the amazing games I am still trying to catch up on... (not to mention the others coming out this fall).

Yeah these updates just continue to be awesome. I'm really impressed with how Sony is handling PSN in general, I have to admit that when I got a PS3 a few years ago I was a little skeptical. Needless to say, they have completely killed my skepticism and I am totally satisfied with the service. PSX games for my PSP, awesome downloadable titles, good demos, and playing games online for free. It's pretty awesome when you think about it.
Now, I wonder if I should get Battlefield 1943...
Dead Space vs. RE5 is living proof that co-op does not make a survival horror game better. The co-op was fun, I'll give it that, but it was not necessary.
Now I can only hope Dead Space 2 and RE6 are smart enough to not have co-op, or AT LEAST have a single player where you don't have a mentally incapacitated AI partner the entire game...
Totally agree. This game blew RE5 out of the water IMO.
If you think you would enjoy the game again with a little more challenge then yeah its worth it. Only big changes are enemies do more damage to you and ammo is much more scarce.
Also, the game has trophies. Do you need another reason to play it again...? :p
Yeah man it's got trophies. Platinum isn't too hard to get either, its on of the 5 I have. But DEFINITELY get this game. It is awesome.
Great game but after playing BlazBlue I no longer think SFIV is the fighting game of the year.
It would have been nice to have local co-op in this game but I have plenty of friends who will get the game who have a mic, so no real problem. Something like this didn't take away from the excellence that is Killzone 2, and I expect it won't do anything similar to Uncharted 2.
Hell, Uncharted 1 didn't have multiplayer or co-op and people are whining because this game doesn't have one more little feature? Uncharted 2 will own 2009.

Sony is the only reason I still care about gaming (other than a nice little surge of DS RPGs lately), and if they left the hardware world I would be more than disappointed.

Dead Space was one of the best games this gen so a sequel is exciting (although expected). I still think the atmosphere created in this game is one of the most impressive I have ever seen.
As for the co-op, I wouldn't be opposed if they somehow fit it in but I sure as hell don't want to be running around the whole game with an AI (RE5 anyone?). Having another person with you completely spoils the suspense and scary factor for me. This doesn't mean I wouldn't want co-op though I j...
Very nice. I really enjoyed the first game but there were some pretty obvious flaws. As long as Ubisoft is smart enough to up the mission variety and give us plenty to do in the open world (besides capturing flags), we could have a real winner on our hands.
How will this be feasible with the delay from the PS3 to PSP? I can barely stand playing a game like Metal Gear Solid with remote play, much less a fighting game...
Keep in mind I am a huge Sony fan but I just don't see how this will be worth anything unless they get that lag completely done away with.

This is so stupid and annoying. They are whining because of the game's PSN sales? Are you kidding me? I own MGS already and I'm sure most fans of the series do as well. Why would we need to buy it again?

Could not agree more. I don't mind that people are enjoying a new way to play games, but it becomes a little more scary when it is so successful and every major gaming company wants to get in on the new "casual" market.
I'm hoping this fad will die off or gimmicky motion controlled gameplay can coexist peacefully with "hardcore" (aka legit) gameplay.
