Look guys, I know the media is always over-reacting when it comes to video games but this is too far.
I graduated from Virginia Tech this year and I was going there when the shootings occurred. Two people I know were killed and everyone there was greatly affected by the tragedy. Reading about this mod actually makes me feel sick to my stomach.
People honestly need to learn some respect. This is not material for entertainment.

Anyway, you said you knew Black Ops would end up like MW2. Well coming from someone who hates MW2, I can honestly tell you that so far that is not the case. Black Ops fixed almost all the issues I had with the multiplayer portion of MW2, and it's been very fun so far. I really get the COD4 feeling from it.

Say what you will about the quality of the CoD series, but people keep buying them year after year. It's pretty obvious that someone is having fun with these games, even if it isn't you or me.
You can search for custom filter matches in Killzone 2. I always used it to play smaller games with rockets turned off.

On topic, I think both Halo: Reach and Black Ops are great games. Halo: Reach is the culmination of everything Bungie has learned with Halo and Black Ops is Call of Duty without all of the terrible annoyances present in Modern Warfare 2. While neither game is perfect, I am enjoying them both.
Just to keep things in perspective, I enjoy Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Killz...

I totally agree man, MW2 was a terribly made multiplayer game. The single player wasn't much better.
I think Treyarch did an excellent job of balancing this time around. After playing the game for a week or so I'm really starting to get that old Call of Duty 4 feeling. It feels nice.
I'm not saying Black Ops is the best multiplayer shooter (or even my favorite) out there but it's a fun game to play with friends that fixed most of the issues p...
